Form

Chin Strap

  Also available are light reactive inserts that change colour in sunlight to reduce glare in seconds. (3)
- Fog FreeFog FreeAn anti-fog coating is applied to the inside of the visor to aid in preventing the visor from fogging during use. (3)
Shell Construction
- Thermo-ResinThermo-ResinThese shells are constructed from plastic using an injection moulding process.
  
  This is a cost effective way of producing a strong shell however more advanced methods such as multi-composite can result in added strength and protection to the wearer. (5)
- Multi-CompositeMulti-CompositeUses multiple materials to create a strong rigid shell that is more likely to protect the wearer from multiple impacts during an accident.
  
  Prices are generally higher due to more advanced production methods but often results in a lighter, safer helmet. (3)
Shell SizesShell SizesThis is the number of different outer shell sizes used to cover the range of head sizes.

The higher the number of sizes used the more secure and accurate the fit as opposed to simply adding extra padding for smaller heads and less for larger heads.
