Excellent product
At first, when I tried on the helmet, it felt a little too tight, but after a couple of days, I realise that this is how the product should be and my old helmet actually did not fit properly. I am delighted with the result and was still comfortable in it, after a long ride last week. Great value too.

Love this lid.....
I have been looking into getting one of these for some time now. I have tried loads of similar flip ups but this is far the best as it is the only legal one allowing you to ride with it jet style. I found the helmet quite comfortable and light after the initial "bedding in" and getting to grips with the moving of the visor up and moving the chin bar back into full face mode. A couple of things I can say for me is a problem, you cannot seem to be able to wear sunnies or normal glasses as there is no cut out for the arms. I checked on line and the lid is supposedly glasses friendly, I tried to put sunnies on but was unable. However, a review said removal of the cheek pads is needed which is not a good thing as why would Shark put padding in there in the first place. Also the helmet seems to be a bit on the noisy side. I have three other helmets; Davida Jet (really quiet but no glasses access either), Nolan flip front and a HJC full face and all of these seem better in the noise stakes.

Very comfortable helmet
The first helmet I've been able to get on without removing my glasses! Very comfortable and fits my XL head very well. Excellent visibility (much better than a full-face helmet) and reasonable noise level. The visor gives you as much or as little breeze as you want - when it's fully down, you hardly feel the wind at all. The mechanism for the sun visor is simple (and so should be reliable), and easy to find if you need it in a hurry (not true on my other helmet!). I really don't see why you might need to stop to use it. Looking forward to riding in this in the summer.
