Looks good, but could be better

First impressions were good, looked a quality product. Good material,zips etc. Collar hard to do up with jacket underneath. But what really let it down was when used in rain first time it let water in around crutch.....not good! May be okay for light rain but would not trust it again in heavy rain.

I ride all year round and waterproof clothing remains one of the products I take seriously rather than just hope it works because it looks good. I researched this one as I have all the others, and I have had a few. I must say that so far, the other reviews by Sportsbikeshop customers are spot on. Overall quality is very good and the design has been practically thought about. The collar is a snug fit, high at the back to stop the drips going down your neck when you turn your head, and the diagonal zip long enough to let you get into it without being a contortionist. The leg zips are good quality, and it doesn't get snagged on the inner lining when you zip them up it in a hurry. Could do with an outside pocket, but there is one at the front inside. I bought a large first which was enormous and it had to be changed, so if you are around 5ft 10 and 190 lbs go for the medium. Oh, nearly forgot, yes it is waterproof.

Great piece of kit.

Had to use these in anger when some very heavy rain was heading my way. It took me 3 minutes to put them on and protected me against rain and cars' spray for the whole 40 miles ride. Nothing went through. I only put 4 stars because manufacturers really need to think of an easier way of getting the trousers on with boots on our feet. But that's not just this product. Great stuff once on.
