This is my second one - Love it
My first one was looking a bit tatty after a good few years of daily use so I recently ordered a replacement. The fit is a little tight at first, but it stretches out over time. Good for cool to hot weather and keeps the helmet clean. On really cold days in winter I wear a more heavy duty balaclava.

Temperature control for any hot head is good in this product but if you've got a small head, I would probably find an alternative. The sizing is a bit generous to fit all heads and so if you have a smaller noggin, like me, be prepared for the balaclava to ripple and fold when you put on your helmet causing a little discomfort. The opening is also too generous, so if you are needing it for covering your chin and mouth and maybe nose too, forget it- it's too huge, unless you have a humongous head off course.

I haven't used these on my bike yet but I have used them under my waders salmon fishing in Scotland last week. The river temperature was 2 degrees C (all snow melt) and the air wasn't much warmer with a bitter east wind. Standing waist deep in the river for 10 hours a day with this body warmer and the heated insoles was no problem. I used the larger battery (it has it's own controller settings) to power the jacket and the smaller battery with a separate controller for the insoles so I could have different settings to each. After 10 hours the smaller battery still had more than 25% charge left and the bigger had 50% left. If I ran both the insoles and the body warmer from the larger battery it lasted about 8 hours. At no time did I have to put either item above level 2. To conclude these are nothing short of fantastic and if they'll keep me warm in those sort of conditions for so long they're going to work on my bike ( as we all know air cooling is not as efficient as water cooling). Buy 'em - you won't regret it.
