Spada Gloves
Amazing quality products at fantastic prices
Quality and value
Brilliant gloves at a very good price. These were a present and at first I thought they were rather ''bright''. However with black and white leathers they are fine and the quality would be hard to beat at this price range. So, great service and great product, what more do you need!
Neil - SkegnessRepeat purchase
I first bought a pair of these about 3 years ago, after reading the review in Ride magazine. After 30,000+ miles they are starting to show their age - holes have appeared in the lining and the heat preserving filling seems to have gone a bit thin or 'flat'. After what has admittedly been a very long and cold winter, I get the feeling they are not as warm as they were when new and so have decided to buy some replacements. After many hours trawling around the internet, I have concluded that there is no other glove which has all the specs I want, at any price. I need a waterproof, warm glove for use all year. I want a visor wiper and sufficient armour and protection to give my hands a chance if I do have an 'off'. These gloves cover most of these points reasonably well - certainly better than anything else I can find. And at a very reasonable price. My feedback to Spada would be: 1 - give them a 'finger bridge' so that the pinky finger is attached to the one next to it. 2 - make them warmer - they are not really up to full winter use. 3 - More/better Velcro on the wrist strap - after a few months it doesn't stay done up. 4 - work on the waterproofing. They are not really up to torrential rain (but is any glove?). I have been religious with applying dubbin to all the seams and stitching which has made a difference. I couldn't find anything on the market that looked better, so have decided to live with these fairly minor negative factors and bought some new ones. Unfortunately, Sportsbikeshop have sent me 2 left hand gloves, so I have not been able to try out this new pair yet; they are on their way back and hopefully will be replaced with a full refund of postage! I look forward to trying out both a left and a right glove....

Good points: Look and feel a lot better than you'd expect for the price, great feel on the controls, very comfortable, fairly well waterproofed (they keep your hands dry but outer does become saturated in a deluge). Bad points: No armour whatsoever. Other: I normally take an L glove but bought the XL in these as the sizes seem to run small - they're a good fit.
