Surprisingly robust motorcycle boots

These may look like a lightweight trainer type boot but they are most certainly a good quality and protective motorcycle boot. Comfort is going to be very much down to fit. Happily, they fit me perfectly and I can comfortably wear them all day both on and off the bike. Some may find them a bit hot for really warm weather but as they are a proper waterproof bike boot, you couldn't expect them to be particularly well vented. I am very happy with them. They seem very well put together. My only worry is that I will wear them out through overuse!

Only had these a couple of weeks so can't comment on longevity, but they are a good solid boot that go quite high up my calf so provide good shin protection from knocks off the pegs. I do find the buckles a bit of a fiddle as others have said, but not a real problem and I'm sure I will get used to them. They do look quite chunky and wasn't really sure of that when I first tried them on, but I have my trousers over them so they look like any other boot. Because they are so chunky I had to adjust my gear leaver to comfortably fit underneath. Can't comment on the waterproofing as I ride for fun and try my best not to ride in the rain. Once these have broken in they should be a great boot and hopefully last a few years.

Ordered as a replacement for some TCX boots that just did not fit. These boots were comfortable straight out of the box. No problems with them at all - the first day wearing them was a 250 mile jaunt over to Norfolk followed by a track day the day after and then back home again. All through the trip the boots were absolutely fine -no rubbing, no missed gears and no annoying squeaks when off the bike. Only time will tell what the longevity will be like but if it is anything like my last pair which last 5 years and 60,000 miles I will be a very happy bunny.
