Awesome Riding Jeans
I had been looking at getting some riding jeans for a while. Safety is very important to me so I need some jeans that are kevlar lined from top to bottom. Draggin' certainly fit that requirement and the Holeshot looked really good from the pictures. They were a little expensive but are supplied with armour whereas some other brands are not.
THE GOOD: The jeans look great and fit really well without the armour installed. They are much cooler that wearing leather trousers and would be great if you're just cruising about or meeting up at the Ace Cafe, Loomies or similar. The jeans are really heavy when you just pick them up compared to normal jeans, but once on it's not noticeable.
THE SLIGHTLY BAD: The Knox armour supplied while well performing, doesn't sit in a great place in the pockets and the edges are quite sharp when putting the jeans on, which is a little annoying. They are supplied with velcro to fix them in place but at the price they are sold at, I would have expected either the pocket to be better fitting to the armour to stop the edge digging in your knee as you put them on, or the the velcro would come preinstalled. The second thing and also armour related is the hip pads are a little uncomfortable, but I have a feeling as I wear the jeans more, they will sort themselves out.
Despite the slight annoyances above I really like the jeans, they are really comfortable generally and look great. Would highly recommend.Simon Huber - Deanshanger
Comfortable for riding
Look and fit pretty good and the armor is OK for riding but it's bulky and there's a lip at the bottom that digs into my legs when walking around. I dumped it and bought some D30 which I had to trim to fit in the pockets which now of course falls out due to the crap Velcro. I will persevere, and I'm sure the problems will melt away with the passage of time. As I said, comfy for riding. Keeps your bum a bit cooler than anything else I've had in the safety trouser department.Stewart Given - London
Reasonable budget gear
These came free with ARMR Moto Kiso Jacket. Reasonable fit (bit tight being "gents" on a lady - wrong shape for girl hips!). Stood up to a light shower, though would benefit from a home spray of waterproofing. Only real negative is the liner not being removable - very hot on a warm day! But would be decent for those crisp dry winter days where the bike may get an airing. All in all, fair product for the price, better still when it actually came as a freebie.Charis Coltart - Castle Douglas
