Huge improvement

Purchased these to replace the standard foam padding in my Alpinestars one piece as chest protection is often overlooked. Exactly the same dimensions as the standard foam armor so won't pad out the jacket/suit more but the similarities end there. The bionic upgrades have a hard outer shell and a far more advanced foam backing which means it will dissipate the energy of an impact far better and not bottom out like the standard foam does with an enthusiastic poke of a finger.

Does what it says on the tin.

Between the elasticated grip band at the top and the strap, they're help in place pretty well and feel snug and secure. A much better option with Dragin' Jeans than the old " Velcro in" armour that came with my pair, though there is a tendency for them to bunch in the crease of the knee and need readjustment. Good quality and they do the job intended.

Good product, slightly smaller than I thought

Overall well designed pads from Forcefield, using their multi-layer design. Really feel like they'll absorb an impact. Better than the cheap foam inserts you get, although thankfully not actually crash-tested them yet. These were slightly smaller than I'd imagined but still fit into my leathers OK.
