This man made fabric offers many advantages over it's natural predecessors. It offers exceptional insulation qualities and warmth, for very little weight and bulk. It is extremely breathable and quick drying, wicking moisture vapour away from the skin, keeping you comfortable and dry during prolonged activity. Its synthetic fibres have a greater acceptance of dyes and produces a rich lustrous coloured fabric which is durable, hard-wearing and easy to care for. Bought as an xmas pressie for my son who is very pleased with product, lovely and warm and fits snugley under helmet wearsit all the time as neck warmer when not on bike.
