Arai Chaser Guardian
Superb innovation and stunning design
£269.99 £369.99 including FREE UK DELIVERYProduct Description
The new Chaser offers superb innovation and stunning designs at a fantastic mid price. Features abound as usual with an Arai, including LRS visor system, powerful chin vent with enlarged duct access and removable cheek pads etc, but it's Arai's new Air Conductor Ergo Duct venting system which really impresses. The large ducts, especially the massive exhaust rear duct are extremely efficient at moving air through the helmet and the larger buttons make operation with gloves much easier.

Very light not much wind noise and the vents work fantastic.came with a fog pinlock too but a bit dissaponted that I had to buy a Arai breath deflector separate as I thought it came with one but still fantastic helmet

New hat!, 4 Aug 2009
Fit is the most important thing about a helmet and Arai helmets fit superbly. This is the most expensive lid I've ever bought and it's worth every penny. I usually just go for plain black but the design of this really caught my eye and £100 off list isn't to be sniffed at. My only slight criticism is the size of the Arai logos on it; perhaps Arai could pay me some advertising money? :-) Another plus with the lid is that it comes pinlock-ready and SBS supply a clear pinlock insert (not indicated in the listing however - something that could be rectified). Arai's lever release system for the visor makes changing the pinlock insert or visor a snap. As with all helmets, even Schuberths, you do need to wear earplugs to protect your hearing; there are no 'quiet' helmets out there. Lastly, Arai have greatly improved the venting operation on the top of the helmet but the venting at the front still hasn't been thought through properly. Instead of two large holes which direct a string flow of air straight at one's lips (not very desirable), a larger set of smaller holes to help cool the lower face (chin & jaw) would, in my opinion, be a better solution. Overall though, a superb helmet, I'd highly recommend it.
