Not ideal, 15 Oct 2010
Not a particularly bright LED compared to other devices I've used. And I don't like the double-sided button arrangement. In the dark, with cold hands/gloves on, it's a very firm 'click' on ONLY if you're pressing the correct side! Pressing two sides at once is not recommended in the instructions (and doesn't work any better anyhow). I know it's cheap, but personally I would not buy another. No idea yet if it's totally (UK)-weatherproof.

Very pleased. Perfect for shining a bright light onto fiddly locks after dark. Torch has sturdy on/off button and shines a bright beam. Lightweight and handy.
