Whilst a little fiddly to put together, it is not too much of a chore and they have a nice solid feel about them. Given the cost, I was a little disapointed that the perspex was a little chipped around the edges, but it does not effect their performance. One note of caution - the red version is more of a pinkish red rather than the pillar box red depicted on the packaging, but it still looks ok.

Yes, it's a bit time consuming to do up the six bolts, but if you own a set of Allen keys, it's not exactly taxing (no pun intended). Waterproof and smart-looking, it does its job well, and its sturdiness also prevents idiots from ripping it off the bike for a bit of fun, unlike standard, flimsy plastic tax disc holders.
