Didn't think I had an Arai shaped head, but actually I do, excellent fit, really comfy. I was surprised by the field of vision this helmet gives you. Feels like a proper piece of professional kit. Build quality excellent, really pleased with this purchase. Came without pinlock, one quick e.mail and problem solved, outstanding service as always.

I have had several lids over the years, but always come back to the RX7. It's without doubt the best helmet you can get. I always now save till I can afford another, because it's worth it. Top quality and fit all round.

Still the best lid on the market

Replaced my RX-7 GP on return to UK with the Crutchlow 2014 special. Still the best lid on the market for quality, fit and visibility. New paint system excellent and the design great, other than having Cal's name slapped on the back which to my mind lessens the design, a Union Jack alone would be better.

After sixteen years sterling service the old RX7 was consigned to moped only duties and I shelled out on the new one. Oh my god! It's sooo good I may divorce the missus and marry me new helmet! The fit, light weight and finish are just incomparable, well done Arai. May I also say top job from the Sportsbikeshop, most excellent service and a very competitive price. Cheers chaps, I'm off to hug me new Arai again!!

Not much to add to what's already known about the Arai RX7 GP. It's the best you can buy to protect what's most important about you (the two track crashes I've had can testify to that). What I will say is what a fantastic service from Sportsbikeshop. Placed the order direct and received it the following day, the price was by far the most competitive too. Definitely recommend them and will definitely use again.

The fit, as this is so important for safety, is absolutely perfect! Just right for my head shape. My old helmet was an Arai RX7 CORSAIR. That was brilliant too. It seemed only natural to move onto the RX7 GP.

This is a fantastic helmet, very well made and leading edge safety. The visor and pin lock system is really excellent. The lining is very comfy and the vents are all easy to use with gloves. I find the helmet a bit 'wind noisy' though, and for that I drop it one star.

Helmet great but working out airflow
