As with all the compartments the zip pulls are large enough to be opened and closed with gloves hands. The panniers are easily expanded to their full capacity with adjustable straps to pull them back should the total capacity not be fully required. Should the weather take a turn for the worst two waterproof covers are provided to keep your luggage dry.
