Product Description
The Scottoiler KTM kit is a brand specific, vacuum-operated automatic chain lubrication system. Easy installation, access and adjustment were key considerations during the design process. Special fittings for mounting the system to the entire KTM street range are included in the kit.
For sporty models like the 1190 RC8 the Scottoiler kit is the ideal way to maintain the superbike performance and get back some of the power that is lost through friction in the transmission. The continual lubrication of the chain reduces friction which can sap power.

Well, first off, I would say in the short journeys I have made on my bike, this has kept the chain in tip top condition, however, the icy conditions of late have meant I have been taking the car instead of the bike. What I would say is that fitting isn't quite as easy as some would have you think. Don't get me wrong, its not rocket science, but adjusting the injector so it drops oil onto the sprocket face as directed took a few cowboy tweaks. Once fitted though it has done its job a treat!
