Product Description
Scottoiler has launched a new chain lubrication system designed specifically for the BMW F650GS and F800GS (2008-) models. The system has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the new models; easy installation, access and adjustment being the key development considerations. Bearing in mind the aesthetics of the product the Scottoiler BMW kit has taken on a new image specifically designed to fit perfectly with the colour options available on both bike ranges.
The original idea for a Scottoiler system specifically designed for the new BMW range came about when Scottoiler and BMW UK met at the Dirt Bike Show in December 2007. It was subsequently arranged that a new F800GS would be delivered to our workshop in February 2008 so that we could let our technical and R&D people loose on it to develop a system specifically suited to the bikes. At the same time we contacted the UK BMW dealers to test their reaction to the new system, this was overwhelmingly positive!

Very well thought out product., 19 May 2010
Kit is well thought out with attention paid to detail as you would expect when Scottoiler and BMW get together. Fitting is straightforward even with the rear wheel in. Instructions are clear - there are also two excellent fitting videos posted on Youtube - for this exact kit. On a critical note - I have found it difficult to adjust the oil flow so it doesn't fling. The reservoir is mounted above the rectifier and also fairly close to the engine. Some fine tuning of the adjuster may be necessary to compensate for the warming effect and increased viscosity of the oil.
