A. Unfortunately the zips are not compatible between the two garments.

Feels very good quality and very very warm. Quite heavy and not sure if the cuffs will go over my winter gloves.

Fantastic jacket, well worth the money, 11 Aug 2010
I have had a few jackets over the past 8yrs from companies like Held, Alpinestars, and even Belstaff but I must say that this is by far the best one out the lot for me. The fit of this jacket is amazing, with lots of scope for adjustment all round the jacket including waist,cuff, arms, neck, under arms, hem. The air ventilation system works extremely well, the front zip-off vents flow plenty of air into the jacket, while the the vents behind you seem to shift the hot air out very well. Although it can be a tad time consuming to re-attach all the panels when it starts raining I think it's a very small inconvenience considering the rest of the features. The jacket has lived up to it's waterproof claim, I have ridden 100's of miles so far in very bad weather and have yet to get wet, with the WRS (Water Release System) working rather well from what I have witnessed, the water literally runs out like a tap! (this is also evident even more so on the Weise Dynastar II jeans) This jacket has truly waterproof pockets at the front as well as inside, with a pocket on the lower back panel as well which is perfect for the ventilation panels and other small soft riding accessories. There are of course a few little niggles though, the re-attaching of the vents being one, and the cuffs took me a little while to get used to. This is because you have a 'normal' velcro adjusted cuff with a built-in neoprene cuff inside for comfort (it is comfy), when you have the waterproof membrane attached as well then this equates to three cuffs for you to get you hands in and out of, and when you combine the Weise inner fleece that comes with the jacket, this jumps to 4 and can obviously be a bit of a pain to get on/off when the jacket is new, it does get better though. The Weise inner fleece that comes with the jacket is a very well made bit of kit and does not feel tacky or look poor quality when worn on it's own separate from the jacket. When worn attached to the jacket all I can say is that it's pretty damn warm inside! I wear this jacket with only a long sleeved t-shirt underneath as when worn properly-adjusted and with appropriate linings in accordance to the weather, you will not need anything else...
