Tecno-II buckle system for a perfect glove like fit. Bolt on (no Velcro!) replaceable, adjustable and aerodynamic nylon scuff pads on the toe. Top Grain leather outer construction. Removable arch support. Double stitched in all high stress areas. Closable air vent. All bolt on parts are replaceable. Dual compound sole.

Very High Quality Boots!, 25 May 2011
The quality of these boots are second to none! They make your feet feel safe and secure. The VR system is priceless! Easiest bike boots to put on and take off. The padding around the ankle is soft which makes the boots very comfortable to wear. Rubber soles have a nice sticky/grippy feel which is re-assuring. Nice feel when on the bike too when changing gear and braking. Sizing wise, I'm a 9 in normal shoes, 9.5 in Timberland boots - I got the 9.5 (44) which fit great, gives me a bit of room in the toe box and the VR system keeps your foot secured.

Great Shorty Boot, 11 Aug 2010
I'm not a fan of full length boots and like the flexibility of the shorty. These boots are very comfy from the outset despite being robustly built and you can walk in them fine once you reach your destination. The closure system works well but it took a few minutes to work out how to release the extra slack in the cable which you need to put the boots on, as its not clear in the manual (hold the release button and pull the cable/turn the winder) Only other thing to look out for is the inner ankle protection studs are very tough and pronounced and can mark the paint/finish around the foot/heel plate of your bike if you tuck your feet closely in. Small niggles for an otherwise excellent boot - if you are looking for a quality summer boot you could do a lot worse than give these a try.
