Q. Are these panniers able to sit on an exhaust? - 14/07/11
A. Although the X60 panniers have a heat resistant base they would not be suitable in a environment where the panniers are in direct contact with an exhaust.

Mounting and unmounting from bike could be less fiddly for every day use. Not waterproof without the liners, 50 miles in heavy rain proved that. On a positive note, good carrying capacity quite sturdy and I don't notice they are there at high speeds.

Great product, perfect for my Yamaha XJ6, but not waterproof, 200miles in a rainstorm too much for the zippers.
