Ever wished you could get a pair of motorcycle jeans with the same comfort as regular denim jeans but with the protection offered by leather? Now you can. These jeans are constructed from ARMALITH®, a worldwide patented composite material which is a unique combination of a fibre generally reserved for aerospace and military applications, and a most familiar and comfortable fibre: cotton.
Thanks to this exclusive assembly the result combines all the advantages of jeans: lightness, hydrophility, breath-ability, wash-ability, and additionally the mechanical qualities of leather: non-abrasive, tear and crack resistant, with an exceptional comfort in summer as well as in winter, either on your bike or at work.
Try hanging a 4 ton Hummer (actually please don't!) from a pair of regular Kevlar armoured jeans and you'll see why Esquad are in an entirely different league.
The material used to create these jeans is in fact so strong that gram for gram it offers twice the abrasive resistance as leather. To further increase protection they are also fitted with NOMEX III thermal shielding. Topped off with reinforced seams if you're serious about looking good as well as being protected, there really is only one choice.

£275 is a lot of money for a pair of jeans but then these are no ordinary jeans. Very comfortable and very well made, they feel almost bullet-proof. The fit was exactly my regular measurements, the style excellent. I have not, and hope never will, tested their abrasion resistance qualities but they definitely feel like they would live up to the company's claims. I inserted HG Hiprotec Sports Comfort armour in the knee and hip pockets but didn't feel confident that the knee armour would remain in place in the event of an accident (and their weight kept pulling the jeans down!) so I replaced them with Knox Flex lite knee guards which you wear separately (also from sportsbikeshop). Overall I am really, really pleased with these jeans, would recommend them to anyone, and I intend to use them all summer on my Daytona 675 - I just hope the wife never finds the receipt!

The most fashionable and convenient dry weather alternative to leathers. Loose cut on the legs and snug fit on the waist makes it easy to wear for long rides. Can't comment much on the abrasion resistance of the armalith, apart from what I have seen on the vids and read on the website and I hope I won't have the need to put it to test!

The Jeans are very comfortable, and well designed. They seem strong indeed. I've worn them for long all-day rides in really hot weather and was so glad I had them, not leathers! I can't really tell about their strength, though as I have not yet fallen off my bike with these on.. :-)
