Product Description
The most technically advanced back protector available and is the result of an intensive 12 month R & D programme.
The new Aegis is 30% lighter than its predecessor. It is low profile under clothing and is totally flexible for comfort and fit. A system of flex channels allow it to sculpt around the back, making it more comfortable to wear under tight outer riding apparel. It is completely breathable with a superior air venting system for maximum air flow to keep riders cool. The spine section articulates freely moving with the rider but at the same time ensuring maximum protection is maintained in all positions. A new integral shoulder strap slider system allows the straps to adjust automatically to the correct position during use. Plus fully adjustable and removable kidney protectors in soft PU gives added performance. The race style 8 plate model has added coccyx protection.
To determine the correct sizing measure from the nape of the neck to the waist using a tape measure or the Knox measuring PDF which can be downloaded below. Using this measurement refer to the sizing chart below to determine the correct size back protector.

Good quality and very comfortable. Ordered colour black, but was sent one with white trim which will show dirt.

This protector feels very safe and I am not aware of it when on the bike as it moves with your spine. Fits well with the chest plate which I also recommend. Ensure you buy the correct size for you.

It is a great and comfortable back protector. But it is also my first non-soft one that isn't integrated into a jacket, so I cannot compare it to any other protectors. I am happy with it and would recommend it.
