RST Tractech Sport Jacket - Black

Would recommend

First jacket as I am new in biking. Came fast, looks as on the picture. Proper CE approved back armor as promised. A bit loose around the chest (as other reviewers stated about RST), leaving a bit of a gap between my back and the jacket. But the good side: I can put a fleece underneath. The first couple of times had some air coming in, but changing the riding position a bit helped a lot (slightly bending my back, plus making sure that the trouser is under the jacket). The waist is tight (I am size 34), not much room left for adjustment. Unfortunately can't zip it to my Spada trouser. The only thing is the zipper at the front, I miss a proper overlapping button on it, so I dunno how long will it take to the zipper to wear off (as I said the waist is tight fit). 4 star because of the zipper and the mentioned relatively loose armor. Otherwise warm, tested: waterproof.

Good looking, nice feeling

For the price, this jacket is just short of excellent. The only drawback are the protectors that are very loosely fitted in the inner lining. That's the only place to put them, due to membrane being laminated to outer shell but still it could be better. My solution will simply be using a separate vest, and then problem will be gone. No testing in the rain so far, but if it's better than my leather it's worth every penny. As for fitting, I use size 54 on this and other brands like Berik & Alpine Stars. RST is wider over the torso and shorter in the arms better fitting a slightly shorter and rounder person than me, this was expected and is really not an issue. I'm 188 cm/84 kg btw. Removable thermo liner makes this jacket warm enough for winter, still it's cool enough without it for regular use.
