Spada Air Pro Textile Jacket

Excellent jacket

My leather jacket is too hot for me in the summer so I wanted something lighter without having to spend too much. This jacket really fits the bill. It is actually one jacket in three as there is a removable inner if it is too hot and a waterproof over jacket for the rain. I haven't used the jacket much yet but the quality seems fine.

Quality looks to be excellent

I have not worn this jacket yet so can't honestly give it a rating. However, it does seem to be well made, and looks as if it will satisfy my requirement for a reasonably light, breezy, stylish summer jacket at a very reasonable price. However, I would raise two (nit picky) points. The jacket comes with a non CE approved back armour plate which due to the design of the pocket is extremely difficult to remove; a larger opening would help. I (with difficulty) replaced it with a Forcefield back armour pad which looks as if it will do its job, although I hope that I never find out! The second point is the waterproof outershell; it's stored in it's own little bag which is sewn in to the back lining of the jacket. All very sensible and good so far. However, the little bag is stitched closed on all four sides; why isn't one of the sides fitted with Velcro for easy access and closing?
