Caberg Duke Booster - White / Grey

Great lid for the price

Quality replacement for my now retired Duke. Snug yet comfortable fit and the pinlock is very handy, especially in the winter. Not the quietest but I always wear earplugs so not a big issue. Good lid.

Caberg are still delivering on quality!

I've been wearing Cabeg helmets since 2003 and this is my third. It's a little different from the Justissimo I had before, but there is no difference in the quality and features - and all for a very reasonable price. The second visor is a must if, like me, you need sunglasses in any bright weather conditions. The ventilation keeps the visor totally clear when on the move - only misting a little at the bottom when stationary. The 'front' locks very securely in place and although it is very lightweight, I feel that my head is very well protected. My friend's young children say it makes me look like an Imperial Stormtrooper (from Star Wars), which they think is very cool - lol. So, if your looking for a decent skid lid that won't break the bank - get one of these!

Nice Lid

I had an 8 year old Caberg Justissimo before this, and it seems I have a Caberg shaped head. I bought the white/grey graphic version over a plain colour as a bit of a change from my previous plain white helmet, and I think it looks good. It's a little quieter than my Justissimo was but still more noisy than something like an Arai, though I wear earplugs so I am not concerned about that. I find it comfortable to wear though my chin sometimes touches the chinguard in the helmet. It's the right size helmet and my chin doesn't jut out (as far as I've ever noticed) so I think for some reason it's just the design of the helmet. The internal tinted visor is great, the Justissimo was the same and I wouldn't go back to not having one now. The flip up front is also very useful and saves me having to take the helmet off at petrol stations and so on. The Duke is approved for use as a full face or open face helmet and the flip up front will stay up if you want without falling down when you ride. It also has a little switch to prevent it being pulled down at all if you want to ride like that all the time (which I don't). Once or twice I have caught the little switch by mistake meaning I set off and then couldn't pull the front down. I had to stop and take a glove off to switch it the other way. The included pinlock is a nice inclusion too. Overall, I think this is great value.
