Caberg Ego - Matt Black
The Ego is Caberg's full face touring helmet with a very unique ventilation system. The CASC (Caberg Air Safety Concept) system is intended to offer a full face giving total ventilation with maximum safety. The top shell has a large opening which, through the EPS channels, assures total ventilation with two rear air extractors giving optimum heat dissipation. The top and frontal air vents guarantee maximum safety thanks to the integrated stainless steel plates, perforated to ease the air passage. Both air vents are easily adjusted giving total cover in the event of heavy rain or during cold weather. Ego is equipped with an integral sun visor which is easily operated with the side lever. The main clear visor is anti scratch with Pin Lock to avoid steaming. Internally, the lining is entirely removable and washable with rear refractive inserts and is made from hypoallergenic and transpiring materials.

Great helmet
I have been using the helmet for more than a week now, and I really like it. It is not very quiet, but in exchange the air flow is great. Absolutely worth the money.

I'm sure there may be quieter helmets but this is lots quieter than my last helmet and great to have Pinlock, sun visor and good venting system. There may be quieter helmets, but this is amazing for the price.

Excellent summer helmet
I was not sure about this when I first purchased helmet but since using it is very good. I have been lucky enough to ride in the two weeks that made up this summer! and it was very good at keeping me cool in temps of 80. Sun visor is very good even for a spectacle wearer, and though not the quietest helmet it is very good. Not sure about winter use but it is supplied with the excellent Pin Lock system, so should be OK. I would definitely recommend for summer use.

Q. If I buy this helmet and try it on in my house, and it does not fit and need a bigger size is it ok to have it returned and get the next size up ? - 28/03/13
A. We offer a 354 day free returns policy whereby provided helmets are in original unused and boxed condition (including tags and intact visor seal etc), they can be returned for either exchange or refund.
