Good jeans

Much the same as the last review. These are really good jeans from a safety point of view. The armour can be moved up or down or even removed if necessary, though it is a bit of a fiddle. The jeans are fully lined inside and very comfortable, the do offer a little bit of resistance to the elements. I've stayed dry and warm in mild weather. From a fashion point of view, my wife didn't like them either, I think they look fine. They are built with riding in mind so are better fitting in the seated position. Ok, ordered these Spidi J&K Pro Kevlar jeans as I wanted protection without having to don a set of leathers every time. These fit the bill perfectly. Good quality jeans as you would expect from Spidi. They have adjustable knee protection in the fact that you can move the armour higher or lower to suit your body. I don't think the knee protection is removable but then again why would you want to remove it - surely protection is the whole point. I haven't really examined the inside details as I had to leave for work 2 days after receiving them. You still see the knee pads if you are walking around in these but certainly not as noticeable as the knee protection on a set of leathers. They have Kevlar reinforcing all the way up from bottom to top on both legs and around the seat area. You don't notice any difference to comfort when wearing them but I would like to think it would provide good protection in the event of a spill and the jeans should not rip. They are pretty long in the leg - I'm 6'3" and they still look a bit long for me but thats no bad thing in my opinion - definitely better than 'half- mast'. One good thing about the Kevlar in the legs is that it keeps your legs warmer than normal denim. Makes a pleasant change to have warm knees after a long ride on the Tuono. As I say I would definitely recommend but my wife thinks they look terrible - that's more from a fashion point of view. However they look, it's got to be a better look than gravel rash, stitches or crutches
