Very sturdy lock while still flexible enough to wrap around the top tube of your bike. The sleeve prevents getting scratches and it cannot slip off. The length allows for locking a tyre to the frame and then the frame to a fixed feature like a bike rack or lamp post. it's heavy, but not as heavy as expected. Would definitely recommend it to anyone with a high end MTB.

Solid, heavy chain that I use to secure my scooter. Small enough to fit in the seat compartment yet heavy enough to deter the casual thief. Got me a small discount on my insurance also which was an unexpected bonus.

In the recent tests performed by Bike magazine this chain lasted all of about 12 seconds to a hand powered bolt cropper - not exactly encouraging. However, even some of the big chains faired just as badly so it's not a fault of this product in particular. If you're just after a fairly lightweight chain that will fit under your seat (no problems on an sv650) then this does the trick admirably, and lets face it, any chain is better than no chain at all.
