Only just applied so can't comment on how it does in rust protection - ride all year so will be able to give a more informed review in a few months, however, left bike shining like never before - looks like a new bike (and its not)!

Great product for the price. Not only will this protect from future rust corrosion but it also does a pretty good job of reducing dirt, grit and rust already on the bike.

Got this now after a long snowy winter, and I can really see a difference in the protection of the metal and parts. Got a good life - a serious douse of most of my bike used 1/10 of the can so cheap enough as well.

I'd give 5 for the liquid itself, but the "spraying mechanism" lets down. I had to use my wife's carpet shampoo bottle, but it's not a biggie. FS 365 does what it supposed to do, however, I've used it a few times only. I'm going to buy a 5 litre bottle next time as it seems to protect my bike against rust and salt. If I could I'd give 11/10 points for the service provided by SportsBikeShop. Simply Excellent!!!

I am confident that this product works, however i usually coat the engine and metal parts with WD40 or equivalent after a wash- "mind the breaks and calipers with all products mentioned>" *Always read the instructions.

Great product. Essential for all winter bikers as me. Neutralizes all salts by quick spray after your ride. Used regularly for the last 2 months of commuting on my bike and not a sign of destructive salt on exposed metal parts. Recommended!

Keeps the corrosion at bay and just hoses off. Trigger application can be adjusted to a jet for those hard to reach areas or a fine spray for everywhere else i.e. forks,swingarm etc.

This item is fantastic, simply give your bike a good deep clean, a nice polish and then its FS365 time!! Spray all over the bike and let it dry, then once dry, apply a 2nd coating of FS365, let that dry and then buff the bike to a fantastic shine!! Once you do this initial coating, washing your bike takes 2 mins because no dirt sticks to the surface of your bike properly! :-) which is rather good!! The layers build up with each application and that corrosion..... nowhere to be seen :-) Not expensive for what it does! Great, don't be put off, just buy it!

Great for protecting the bike from corrosion. Used every time after rain or a long ride and the bike looks good as new, especially useful on exhausts and downpipes. A lot is wasted though during the application due to run off and the product is very expensive for the quantity. But it does the job well

Having never tried anything along these lines before i was a little sceptical ! i was always a wd 40 man but found this product pretty good at covering large areas to be proected. three things i dont like though are ...firstly the amount that you waste because it is so watery it just drips off onto the floor! i got a plastic sheet and caught it and poured it all back into a seperate bottle!ents i got an old kithcen cleaner spray bottle that was empty washed it out and put the spillage into that for re use so as not to waste any!! secondly i dont like the fact that you dont have a fine tube for targeting specific areas, thats a definate minus,point! you dont want to have to use more than neccessary to get into a tiny spot now do you! overall ...yes its good but with other oil based sprays as cheap as they are e.g 2.99 for a 500 ml tin complete with spray tube im not convinced its worth the extra cash thirdlythe stuff is water based with sluble oil in it so guess what all that lovely stuff we get here in the uk called rain washes it off!that to me is a compromise ! you wanted an honest opinion well there you are . happy biking

An excellent and easy way to prevent rust. Its very effective and can be sprayed almost on any part in order to prevent corrosion. The spray mechanism is very accurate and the product is water soluble so if it falls on the ground it will wash away. The product must be applied either afetr washing or just after a heavy shower as eventually it dissolves. After coatings the parts build a layer of protection to maximise protection. Only downside is the funny smell!

This is so easy to spray EVERYWHERE and makes it so easy to clean your pride and joy after a good ride, even makes it easy to clean off the dreaded chain lube on the wheels milarky!! Also keeps the nasty cheap rubbish salt on the roads from eating up your bike :-)

Its kept my bike relatively rust free for the five years I've had it, and I ride all year round, rain, snow and salt. Just keep applying it once you've rinsed off after a wet run, just add it after a dry run and the film gets more protective.

Keep spraying this stuff on after a wet ride and when you come to clean your bike the muck comes off really easily. Helps protect again corrosion too. I 've been using this stuff for some time now and so far my bike is 'weathering' well !!

I ride my bike 180 miles a day all through the winter and this stuff has proven to be immense in protecting it from all the muck that can potentially corrode and damage the engine and other exposed parts. The Scottoiler spray provides a protective layer over the bike which dirt from the road sits on top of mean that when you come to clean the bike the muck just wipes off. This product is a must for anyone riding in the UK - especially in winter.

Having recently purchased a new motorcycle, yet not having a garage in which to keep it, I searched around to find a suitable product that would help prevent, or at least reduce, the amount of corrosion suffered by my bike when kept outdoors in the cold, blustery and damp conditions that we are accustomed to in the UK. Having read a number of reviews and comments concerning the matter on bikers' forums, it appeared that the Scottoiler FS365 litre spray would do the trick. I ordered a bottle from sportsbikeshop.co.uk, (which, although the retailer's website states that their standard delivery time is three to five days, the product arrived two days later!), and, after a ride in the wet the following day, I let the bike cool off before rinsing it down and getting to work with the FS365. When spraying over the bike the Scottoiler spray was emitted in a fine mist, which is exactly what you want as it helps to comprehensively cover the surfaces to which it is applied, without making the bike look as if it's been splattered with engine oil. After waiting for the product to settle and it's water content to evaporate, it's actually hard to tell at a glance that you've coated the parts with anything, thus reducing the necessity to clean the bike in preparation for the next time you get it out for a ride. I had little choice but to leave the bike on my drive uncovered for a few days due to the continuing poor weather, in which the rain fell steadily and heavily, after which we were blessed with a number of days sunshine - perfect biking weather! This gave me the opportunity to rack up a few hundred miles, which in turn covered my bike with plenty of road and brake dust! When I came to clean the bike again following numerous jaunts around the country, I noticed that areas such as the swing arm and wheels, which I had coated with the Scottoiler, were much easier to clean, because all the muck had, in effect, sat on top of the FS365, making it an effortless task to wipe the dirt off. I then examined the bike for any signs of corrosion, especially round the fastenings, side- and centre-stand assembly, the down pipes and exhaust, and I was more than happy to see that all were looking pristine and like new. After rinsing and polishing the bike, I liberally sprayed the most vulnerable parts of the bike with the FS365 again, and have since repeated the maintenance cycle described. After each cleaning I examine the bike with a fine tooth comb in order to find evidence of corrosion, and have yet to find any! In conclusion, the only reason I haven't awarded this product five stars is, although we've had a rotten Summer this year which was a more than suitable test for the product, I have yet to subject the bike to a harsh British Winter in which corrosion can really take hold. However, judging by the results with FS365 so far, I think this product will go the extra mile in protecting my bike where even the most rigourous maintenace schedule would fall short. And it's great value too, when compared to alternative anti-corrosion treatments on the market.

Have given the bike a good spraying after each ride out in the wet and it seems to have kept corrosion to a minimum. A bottle lasted me all of the winter (although I don't ride everyday) so good value.
