I wear glasses, so have had trouble in the past with not being able to get them on under helmets. I was advised by a friend to get a helmet with a flip up face and this works brilliantly. I was slightly worried about the inner smoked visor not coming down over them but this is fine, and its plenty dark enough for even the sunniest of days. The only small problem is that there is quite a bit of wind noise at higher speeds.

great buy one of the cheapest places i have seen it lets a bit of wind however couple with a £10 balcava from your local bike shop is perfect and has been test to 70mph ;) i would happily recommend to anybody. oo yh this helmet is great when filling up no fuss just fill it up and continue. and cant believe how handy the tinted visor is.

Ok, 15 years since I last wore a helmet so this was going to be interesting. Tried one on in a local shop and checked my size...(Priced at 230euro) then ordered online. Fits perfectly, the only issue I have is the chin strap, tends to be uncomfortable even with neck scarf. I got very little turbulance at speed but a little wind noise. Overall very pleased. Service from SBS is impeccable, will purchase here again.

This is my second TRIP (first was stolen) and I did feel that the chin strap was a bit on the tight side on the first one, however this one is perfect. Really good helmet overall, relatively quiet and a snug fit. The sun visor is really good for when the sun gets too much. I must add that the flip functionality is a bit flawed on this one as it does not lock into place hence is not suitable for riding or paying at the petrol pump. I am still happy with the purchase as it provides good visibility, doesn't fog up and is good value for money.

Well constructed helmet with a quality finish, the internal visor feature is a really useful and the helmet is suprisingly quite! My previous helemt was a full face and this is quiter than that (agv Airtech) also this lid has a 5 star rating from SHARP the new government helmet rating scheme go to the website for more (google - SHARP)

This is my first flip lid and I have to say how pleased I am with it. After reading the reviews on this site and several others I decided to take a chance that this lid would be suitable for me. Generally I find that the shape of my head (being slightly oval) creates a squeezing effect on my forehead which, after a while becomes increasing uncomfortable. I am pleased to say that this was not the case with the Trip. It had been mentioned that the Trip tends to suit round to slightly oval shaped heads and that a slight tight feeling on the forehead would soon mould itself to suit, which it has, and is now very comfortable. I always ride with earplugs but will comment that the Trip doesn't appear unduly noisy in comparison to my Shoei full face. The chin strap is easily adjustable and comfortable and the flip down tinted visor works really well. The only reason I haven't given this a 5 rating is that the chin guard is closer to my chin than I would like (and NO I'm not a Jimmy Hill look alike) an extra 5mm would have been perfect. With a Sharp 5 star rating and under £100.00 you can't go wrong. I should also mention the service by SPORTSBIKESHOP.CO.UK was exceptional all the items I ordered arrived within 2 days in tip top condition.

Bought this as a replacement for my previous Caberg Trip. The padding and chin strap seem to have been improved (all seem to have been upgraded) as is the 'travel' on the flip visor. This now comes down far enough - before it wasn't quite there - but this is excellent. (The whole visor set up is adjustable in any case but this was an improvement straight out of the box). Very pleased with the helmet - I'm out on the bike everyday and the Caberg is perfect - great value!

I've never owned a bike or a helmet before, and I bought this one on the recommendation of a friend. It's great. Having tried the Trip and the GT, the Trip is superior and i'd say you'll be looking at paying at least twice the price of this to get anything better.

Very good helmet, a bit short on the chin but overall good, someone told me that the visor seal is rubish and rain goes inside the visor but this is a lie, its fine. I payed for next day delivery but it came a full week after dispatch so if you are thinking of buying this helmet I would go with the free delivery. Dispatch time was fine so UPS is probably to blame, overall good helmet.

Totally delighted with all aspects of this helmet. The internal sun visor is very handy and the flip up front is excellent as I wear glasses and now don't have to take them off to put on helmet. The sun visor doesn't interfere with my glasses either. The only negative point about this helmet in Matt Black is that as with anything Matt Black it smudges easily.

This is a good value budget helmet, nice design and looks. Built in sunvisor is great. Everything is easy to operate. Only problem I had was one of the catches for the flip front wasn't locking but I fixed that rather than return helmet. Only fault I can find is the strap rubs into my neck because the cushioning part is not fixed to the strap or long enough. A needle and thread should sort that though. Liked this helmet so much I bought the wife a Justisimo which seems slightly improved from this design but I preferred the looks of this one. Have previously had £300+ helmets but can honestly say I prefer this one. Top service from sportsbikeshop too, really fast delivery.

Build quality is what you'd expect for the price. The design is very good. It's comfortable and the built in sun visor is a very useful addition. Ventilation is fine and you can always open the main visor to the first click position which improves ventilation when moving slowly during the city commute. I have recently returned to motorcycling and needed a new helmet, after searching endless sites, shops and the loft I came across this helmet. What a comfortable, practical and eloquent design. Good ventilation and in built shades one flick of the wrist (but not at speed) and the glare is gone, also paying for go go juice is no longer a hassle with the aid of a 1 push button application and hey presto an open faced lid. If I ever need to replace this lid it will certainly be for another Caberg and probably the the same model.

Exellent love the tinted internal visor, cant fault this helmet at all the one thing I can think of is if you are a fusy person the colour matt black attracts fingerprints but can easily be sorted with the metallic colour which sportsbikeshop supply with the helmet for free, and this is the only site I found this same product the cheapest on the net.

Comfortable & lightwieght, have used for 1 week before review, can't fault it clear visability the visor just refuses to mist up whatever the weather. Feels good and looks good. The front opening and built in sun visor are great for long trips. Only problem is changing the main visor, not as easy to remove as some other helmets, which can be a pain when cleaning all the bugs.

The helmet is well made and fits comfortably except that it feels a littlte too tight on the cheeks. The built-in sun visor is superb - I would not want to go back to using a helmet without this feature. My only criticism is that I suspect the ventilation may be inadequate on really hot days.

Caberg Trip is a great helmet; comfortable to wear for long rides, great integral sun visor so no faffing with sunglasses, removable washable interior liner (removable inside makes installing audio kit a doddle too). If you want a flip front helmet you could spend hundreds on other makes or a fraction of that on this one. You wont regret it. I already have a Caberg Trip and wanted this as a spare/pillion helmet and Sportsbikeshop.co.uk was the best price I could find on the net.

A feature packed skid lid at a price that's right, and with the measuring instructions from sportsbikeshop, it fit perfectly first time! A few seconds of familiarisation and i soon got the hang of the visors and built in shade arrangement, dead easy!
