Cargo Sports Tank Bag

The Cargo Sports Tank Bag is great value, strong and very versatile. We have not had enough rain yet to see how waterproof it realy is but it has kept out the summer showers without any problems!!!

Simon Fisher's review is accurate - here are a few more points: The bag is a bit heavy to carry, but not noticeable on the bike (probably the strong magnets!). Small enough to not get in the way when riding, but holds a useful amount of kit. Leaks slightly in the rain - used all day in the rain, the map compartment and interior was damp. the rain cover is opaque and obscures a map underneath it. Base zips off to expose a map holder, so you can use the base on the tank with a map, and strap the bag to the pillion seat as an alternative.

The strap that goes round the steering column tore away from the bag the first time I used it. Will be sending back and claiming refund.

Good materials, versatile but a little bit heavy if you want to carry it in your shoulder.

Strong magnetic base which is detachable, with upper part containing ruck sack style straps & a detachable shoulder strap. Used for daily commute and whilst only 20 Ltrs it seems to hold a surprising amount. Separate rain cover useful for wet & windy days. Magnets are strong. You need Motrax Wonderweb to protect the tank correctly. Good option is to also strap tank to pillion seat as well but I prefer the tank position - it is not a high bag and does not get in the way of riding.
