Benefits of finance

Finance is available on most purchases of £280 or more. This enables you to buy all of the motorcycle gear you need now, all for a low monthly payment. You can also choose higher-spec products for only a few more pounds per month by spreading the cost of your purchase over 12, 24 or 36 months. Keep your cash for day-to-day expenses and benefit from fixed repayments allowing you to budget more effectively.


How to apply for finance

Firstly, add your chosen items to your basket as normal. When you proceed to the checkout simply select to pay by finance from the payment methods shown. You will then be taken to our online finance application screen. The paperless application takes around 5 minutes to complete and you will be given an instant decision.


What you'll need to apply

To apply for finance you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be over 18 years of age.
  • You must be a UK resident with at least 3 years continual address history.
  • You must have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits.
  • The goods must be delivered to your home address.
  • You must be in full time employment, unless retired or a house person with a spouse in full time employment.

Q. How much can I borrow?
A. When checking out, just fill out our easy online application form and you can be approved for up to £12,000 to use for the products you wish to purchase. Use our calculator to determine how much you can spend based on your monthly payments. The minimum you can borrow is £250.
Q. Is a deposit required?
A. Yes. A 10% deposit is payable by credit or debit card upon acceptance. You can also choose to pay up to a 50% deposit in order to reduce your monthly payments.
Q. How are my monthly payments paid?
A. All monthly payments are paid by direct debit from your personal bank account. Typically the first payment will be due one month after the date of the finance agreement and subsequent monthly payments will be due every month for the length of your term on that day of the month.
Q. What length of repayment is available?
A. Depending on the finance products available for your purchase, you can choose a 6, 12, 24 or 36 month loan repayment period.
Q. How do I apply?

Q. Can I pay my agreement off early?
A. You can settle your loan agreement at any time. Simply write to Ikano Retail Finance and they will calculate and send you, your settlement figure. Your settlement figure and date are calculated in line with the Consumer Credit Act.
