Customer Reviews for Keis S102 Heated Inner Soles
Toasty toes but a bit too warm!
My wife and i both have a set of Keis heated kit, including these insoles. The sizing is pretty good. You are better to order slightly bigger as the insole can be cut down a little to fit. This means more of the heating element gets nearer the extremities. The fitting is easy enough. We tucked them under the existing insole with the cables hanging over the back of the boots. So - heating. Well these are extremely effective. Perhaps too much so. When used with the heated vest and on the lowest setting, they are still too hot and become uncomfortable after a while. So - the solution for us is to use the vest with the heavy duty temp controller, and fit an additional Keis on / off switch in-line for the in-soles. Both buttons hang out the vest and are easily reachable, sitting around the left trouser pocket, so the trick is to have the vest on low setting, and for the insoles just switch on and off as required to keep the cold away without becoming too uncomfortable.Read more
Very nice little addition to colder days ride, I have it connected to my warm & safe jacket, controlled with wireless controller and absolutly love it. Bought two pairs for me and my gerlfriend. A lot of adjustment in size as these can be trimmed for a perfect fit.Read more
Lovely and warm feet. Easy to fit in my boots. Great service from sportsbikeshop.Read more
Was slightly dubious when I read other reviews on these they almost seemed to good to be true but I decided to go ahead a buy a set. I was not disappointed and all the reviews I read were accurate. They take a little while to get up to temp but once there keep your feet very toasty and warm, when you reach your destination it's like your feet haven't even been out in the cold. I can only have them on the middle setting as they get to hot otherwise. Great product, so glad I got a pair, should have done it sooner.Read more
Makes winter riding a pleasure :) and so easy to plug in.Read more
Definitely need the heat controller as they get VERY hot on max setting...! Really good and easy to fit in boots. my only minor issue is the cables are a bit of a hassle (minor) to run through trousers, and connect/disconnect but this is cancelled out by having warm feet!!Read more

No more cold feet
The heated insoles kept my feet lovely and warm in the coldest of weather. Ideally they need the heat controller as they can be a bit to warm when they could ideally be turned down a click. If you already have a jacket then the controller that comes with it is ideal to control both jacket and insoles together. The soles are robustly manufactured and have a small trimming area at the toes to tailor for a perfect boot fit. The electrical wire comes out of the heel section to then thread up back of the bike trousers to the jacket, where a single 2 into 1 socket plugs into the jacket. (very neat and unobtrusive). Between heated handle grips, Kies jacket and the insoles, biking in cold weather is now a whole new ball game. Excellent value for money.Read more

Questions and Answers
What power do the insoles draw and what fuse would I need to run a 501 jacket and insolesDecember 5, 2019
The current drawn by these insoles is 1.3A, compared with 5.5A drawn by the jacket. We would therefore recommend installing at least the 7.5A fuse.
Will the insoles work with the X20 gilet I just bought?February 4, 2019
Yes - there should be a power output socket at the bottom of your heated vest. This is where you can connect the heated inner soles or trousers.
I own the X2 trouser with a heavy duty controller to control the heat, so do I need an extra controller for the heated inner solesJanuary 7, 2019
We would recommend purchasing the optional Keis Light Weight Controller.
Hiya I have the heated jacket J501 will I still need to get a separate heat controller for the insoles or will the jacket controller set it to whatever temperature that is set at. Thank youDecember 13, 2018
The heat controller on the jacket will not control the heat setting of any other connected items. To alter the temperature of the insoles, you would need to connect them to the bike, and use the lightweight controller.
Hi, I have the Keis 501heated jacket and inner gloves. How would these connect to that set up? I do not have the heated trousers. CheersOctober 31, 2018
The Keis J501 Jacket is provided with a power output socket below the left pocket. This socket allows the connection of Keis Trousers or Keis Insoles.
how thick are they in your boots. My boots are quite tight fitting.February 5, 2018
The Inner Soles are approximately 4mm at the front and 20mm at the rear (heel included).
Will these work with the X25 jacket?January 9, 2018
They will work together but we would advise using a separate temperature controller instead of plugging directly into the jacket. From previous customer feedback without the temperature controller the inner soles would produce too much heat.
The product image shows two separate cables. One must be a Y cable to attach to the two insoles, what's the other? And can you specify the length of the cable that attaches to the insoles. Thanks!November 13, 2017
The other cable is the fused battery connector. The length of the Y cable is approximately 120cm.
What size of heated soles would I need to buy with size 11 feet?September 30, 2015
Keis advise that the size XL caters for shoe sizes 10 and above.
