Customer Reviews for Keis X2i Heated Trousers - Black
A must have for winter commuting...
A good pair of heated trousers. well made and seem robust enough. The fit is quite snug. A nice fleece lining inside and a stretch to the fabric means they fit nice. I wear them under my RST Goretex and don't even know they are there. I commute a 150mile a day round trip and these have made a BIG difference to my comfort. they can be used on their own or as i do, connect to a jacket by the built in lead. 3 stage heat controller built in which is easy one touch use. They also have leads in the ankles if you want to connect insoles or heated socks. (tho the controller doesn't have an effect on 'add ons') only small negative is that for me the trousers don't seem to have much heating in the back, around the back of the thighs and seat area, and for me it seems the chill still gets in these parts, but some of the residual heat does appear to travel!Read more
Wish I'd done it years ago
Quite possibly one of my best investments. Due to my poor circulation, I have just purchased a set of Keis X2I heated trousers (under trousers / leggings). I have a daily commute of about 50 minutes in each direction, setting off at 6am, and it can get a bit fresh. I have been that impressed with these trousers that I thought I would share it with you all. They are a little pricey at £150.00, but they really do improve your riding comfort. I use them under leather trousers. We all seem to adjust our layering on the top half, leaving the lower half a little exposed. The trousers on minimum heat feel like you are wrapped in a duvet with a hot water bottle. I wish I had brought them years ago. As previously mentioned, Large is a comfortable fit for a 34" waist, but are quite long. I wish there was a short leg length available, but had no problem getting a tailor to cut them down. The quality seems very good. I recommend using them with the on/off in-line switch to make it easier to turn off on the move. I am very happy with them.Read more
Good fit and work well
Seem OK so far. Size Large fitted a 34 inch waist.Read more
These trousers have bad reviews but I'm not sure why. I've used them over 10 times and they're still going strong. They fit true to size (I'm a 34inch waist female so bought a Large) they fit fine and are giving around the waist anyway. They are very warm and have 3 heat settings, low, medium and hot. I rarely use hot as it is too much for me but good to have in case of Artic conditions. They fit perfectly under my RST adventure trousers or Bull-it jeans. I'd really just give these trousers a try if and if you are having any doubts about other reviews, don't because if you measure your waist before buying then there won't be any issues.Read more
Besides being fiddly to connect, I couldn't manage to make it work while connected to the jacket. The back of the trousers have these ridiculously stupid elastic panels that actively prevent you from sliding your leg in, making them super difficult to put on, especially in a rush. From the other two reviews, I was hesitant at first but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt but thank God for Sportsbikeshop's fantastic returns policy, because I lost all confidence in this product after trying it just once. Rather than trying to make it work, I decided to return it just in case. Oh, and in case you're wondering, the jacket itself is awesome and you don't really notice how cold your legs are with those on. I'm sticking with the Rev'it Nanuk pants I bought from Sportsbikeshop. They're much, much better and less fiddly - not to mention much less expensive!Read more
Not the best
When received, they felt great quality. Extremely comfortable and feel nice and very warm. However, on first wearing, bent down to blow tyre up and the seat ripped all the way round, not good on first outing.Read more
Have worn the trousers only 4 times and the stretchy panel around the crotch has worn away. I would expect this after a year or two..... Not happy considering the cost!Read more
