Very happy with these gloves. Finally I don't get freeze my fingers anymore. Really worth the money and appear to me made of high quality. Thanks!Read more
No cold fingers
They do what they say. My hands, particularly my fingers. They are not hot but my hands did not cold, Only used the lower settings so far in temperatures as low as -3 centigrade. The wet performance is excellent. The batteries work well and are good those short on /off trips. Only thing is they require careful positioning to avoid the connectors digging into my wrist. I really should have bought these years ago.Read more
So pleased with my Gerbing 12V-XR-12 hybrid gloves. I suffer with Reynard syndrome, wind chill really gets to me. The heated grips on my Yamaha FJR did little to help.. These gloves are so cosy I've turned the grips off!Read more
I'm a daily commuter including through the winter (50 miles each day), these gloves are great, very warm and after traveling in minus temperatures these have performed very well - really pleased with these. Quick and easy to connect the plug to the battery.Read more
Quality gloves - 2nd time around
I ordered a Large pair of these gloves and was initially pleased with the look of them. However, they were a bit snug and not as warm as I was expecting from other reviews. I regularly found myself setting them to 3 even though the weather wasn't that cold. Antoine at Sportsbikeshop was very helpful and told me I could return the gloves for an exchange or refund. I plumped for an exchange but unfortunately, they were out of stock in Large. Antoine kept me updated regularly and it only took a couple of weeks for another pair to arrive. These immediately felt a better fit and although I haven't had chance to use them on the bike, I've connected them to the battery and they feel warmer at setting 2. I'll see how they work soon but Antoine has reassured me I'll be able to return them again for a refund if they are no better than the first pair. Great service from SBS and I'm hopeful of the gloves being effective. I would echo comments that the longer wire for the furthest arm could do to be a few inches longer to prevent it disappearing up the sleeve. Otherwise, it's easy for me to run the wires between the shell and liner of my jacket.Read more
The best, only real winter gloves
Having gone through various expensive options I wish I had bitten the bullet sooner and bought these first! Very comfortable, amazing warmth (-3c on a naked bike, no problems!). Good protection and well made. Gloves sorted.Read more
Nice warm computer gloves
Only had a week or so but the temp has dropped to 3 degrees, I have had them on 100% and hands were just nice, they could have been turned down but I was just right. They seem to be very well made, and made for comfort. For me the cuffs are a little long but that's personal choice.Read more
Wouldnt go out with out them
Very good product, warm even without turning them. Works very well in cold temperatures, lets you concentrate on riding. Cons: Quite chunky, and the junior controller moves around and changes setting, it fell between the legs and the tank. Over a very good product.Read more
These are the second pair of gloves that I've bought by Gerbing. The others were an earlier model and were very good which led me to buying these. A mistake. They are not a patch on the earlier model. For one the power level has been restricted to only the lowest 2 settings! Ridiculous as they don't give off enough heat at 50% to make a difference. The heat that is present is patchy and not on the fingers where needed but on the side of the hand. Very disappointed.Read more
Would recommend and buy again
Worn the gloves for about 10 hours, 1 deg C most extreme temp. The gloves are not without minor faults: wires are awkward to begin with; gloves uncomfortable at first but break-in after a few hours, the 25%/blue setting is pointless but at 1 deg C the 75%/amber setting was sufficient. The left index finger appears to be lacking in heat but in general the gloves are a huge improvement on other winter gloves and inners. Even removed handle-bar mitts. I am Medium size in almost all gloves, these are also Medium but slightly too long in the fingers. It is disappointing that the glove page of website does not specifically state that batteries are further £80. I was too tight to spend that so hooked it up to the bike battery (with ease - I'm no mechanic) and they work very well. Overall, I would recommend them and buy them again if I didn't own a pair.Read more

Questions and Answers
Wot length of cable comes with the gloves I ride a bow r 1200 gas and the power point is to the rear side of the seatFebruary 20, 2018
The battery cable is approximately 95cm long and the Y-Lead is approximately 150cm long.
Hi, if wired up you need the supplied heat regulator. If using lithium batteries, how do you control the temperature? I also have a cigarette lighter socket in the handlebars, but am struggling to picture how to connect the gloves safely without loose wire or limiting hand movement. Are you still supposed to go through the jacket rather than straight out at the cuff? Am I over thinking it?January 19, 2018
Each battery has a built-in temperature controller with 3 different settings. Red is 100% heat output, Orange is 66% heat output and yellow is 33% heat output. The gloves can be connected to a cigarette lighter, but we would not recommend it, as you say there will be wiring to tuck away somewhere. The cigarette lighter attachment would need to go into the controller.
My Triumph Sprint GT has a 12V DIN Accessory connector. Can I connect the gloves to to this?November 30, 2017
Yes, but you will need to use the Gerbing 12V BMW / Hella Plug. This can be used for a normal cigarette lighter style socket or the smaller DIN socket.
As these are hybrid gloves do they come supplied with batteries? Also for sizing. On the Gerbing website it says 21-23cm is a large, but on yours it says it is a medium. Which is correct? ThanksNovember 29, 2017
The B12V-1400 hybrid batteries are not included. You require the Gerbing 12v battery kit dual. Most customers find that if they purchase the same size gloves as they already have (using our size guide) the fit is good.
Do the gloves come with Gerbing 12V Junior Temperature Controller included? I assume that is the case (picture of the item) but it doesn't really say in the specification.November 20, 2017
We can confirm that the gloves are supplied with a junior controller.
Is there any way on linking these gloves to the Keis J501 Premiun Heated Jacket via an adaptor?November 6, 2017
Unfortunately we are not aware of an adapter that will do this, sorry. The plugs on the different manufacturers are all different.
