55,000+ Reviews

Whilst we know a bit about bikes and bike kit, the best road testers out there are our customers, real bikers, just like you. If you're looking for advice on what to buy, you'll find over 55,000 independent product reviews which we've posted, unedited, for all to see. Whether it's a question about sizing, quality or something else, our customer reviews are quite simply, the best place to start.

365 Day Returns

We simply don't believe in making the sale and moving on, we want to make sure our customers are happy with their purchase. That's why we now offer a full 365 day returns period. Simply relax, take your time and make sure it's right! All we ask is that you try the items within your own home and return with the tags intact.

10+ Years Online

We've been serving the motorcycle community for more than 10 years now and in that time we've grown to be the largest online retailer of motorcycle clothing & accessories in the UK.

Free Delivery*

It's really simple, if you spend over £25 with us, delivery is free of charge to any mainland UK address (excluding Islands & Highlands).

Finance Available

Why wait? We now provide some of the best finance packages around to help spread the cost and get you on the road. We now offer finance on most orders from as little as £280 with 0% packages starting at only £300. The online application process is super simple too and takes around only 5 minutes to complete! The best part is, there's no paperwork to print and in most cases you'll have a decision in under 10 minutes. Just select finance as a payment method and take it from there!

Award Winning

There's a reason why our competitors spend so much time watching what we do, we believe in customer service levels beyond the norm and we're always looking for ways to improve. In late 2013 we were recognised for this by the bike industry's No.1 publication, Motorcycle News. As retailer of the year, we feel it's our duty to constantly better our offering and if you have any ideas, we'd love to hear from you!

Customer Reviews for Garmin Sat-Nav - Zumo 395LM

Good solid piece of kit

Comes with all the kit needed to mount it to your machine. Adventurers routing is great. Looking forward to using it on my European trip to Poland later this year. PS couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else.

It's OK at the moment

Haven't had chance to use it much but everything seems to work fine. The only problem I'm experiencing and it could be down to me is the car mount it doesn't seem to stay attached to the windscreen it keeps falling off. Other than that I have no problems with the unit.

Very Good

Having had the Zumo 500 for 10 years and she was starting to go wrong I got the new 395LM, how things have advanced in 10 years. I like the fact that you can set up the routing for the motorbike one way and a different way if you have it in a car and when you put in a destination it will give you two options of which route to take, but I normally plan my routes on the bike using Basecamp. The curvy route does work but it will take you round the houses to your destination but I suppose that is what it is supposed to do, to take you on curvy roads. I have only used it in the car so far and it works fine and can't see why it won't be the same on the bike, hope this one lasts as long as my last one.

Feel the ride

Well a great little Sat-Nav, easy to use and find were you want to go. I love the round trip option, just set the distance and let the Sat-Nav take you on a mystery tour! The option to select the type of road from motorways, hills and windy roads will suit any riders preference for fun or commute! All you really need! There are a few down sides to the Zumo which for the money seem a little hard to swallow at first but after tweeking the detail settings to low, turning off the auto zoom and setting zoom to max the 395lm becomes easy to live with and fun to use Sat-Nav with it's simplicity! For personal preference I've turned off alerts for things like sharp bends. I found the audible alert via blue tooth encouraged me to take my eye off the road right before a bend! First time use? I would recommend riding somewhere quiet to get use to the level of confusion. On the first test ride you can then take time to adjust and tweek the setting that best suits you without becoming too distracted! What more could you want? Comes with adequate fittings to secure to any bike or car! With hard wired direct charging cradle or cigarettes plug for the car! For sports bike riders I found there's not a lot of space to secure it to the bike without obscuring the Speedo or petrol light in some way so for the this reason I'm glad I went for the smaller 395lm over the larger screened 595lm! Even now I'm thinking if I could have put it in a better place! I would recommend it to anyone and now if got use to it, love it! So value for 3.5 out of 5 it could be a lot better for the money and for me a little to much detail making it confusing at first! Build quality 5 out of 5 it looks and feels really well made! Overall 4.5 out of 5.

Are we there yet

After years of trying to operate a car Sat-Nav mounted in a waterproof case I took the plunge and purchased a Garmin Zumo 395lm. Has some brilliant features, route planning, fuel and servicing range. Being able to make and down load routes from a computer is a great feature. And the speed of service from Sportsbikeshop still amazes me, ordered Saturday night, received Monday lunch time.

Feels robust

Used on a trip to Spain. Not very 'glove friendly' at all. Navigation refresh can be slow. Auto zoom is very poor in 2D and does not provide enough slow speed detail. 3D auto zoom is marginally better. Detail refresh slow. Awkward working with way points, it is not easy to ignore one unless you hit it and the unit constantly tries to bring you back instead of moving to the next. On a positive note, transfer to PC is very quick as is recalculation and a very large built in memory so SD card not essential. Screen very clear in daylight. Also feels robust and comes with good selection of mounts.

A good Satnav, highly recommended. On my first ride, it fell from the bike (it was my fault). Just had a little scratch, that is it really. Quality product.

Easy to use

Having had a Garmin 660 before I think this Sat-Nav is better, the extra features on it are great, easy to use and set up. Great value.
