No more lubing my bike
If you're lazy like me then you'll want someone else to lube your chain.Read more
Does what it says on the tin, excellent bit of kit, quick delivery. No problems.Read more
Slick and easy
Scottoilers can be controversial but I bought this for a new bike to keep the chain in tip top condition and believe they work a treat. Whilst they can be a bit fiddly to set up and install the support from Scottoiler themselves via email and their website goes above and beyond and make this as painless as possible. As for sportsbikeshop excellent service as always.Read more
An absolute essential for Scottish winter riding
Wish I had fitted this to my Honda VFR800Fi from the day I bought it. Takes all the hassle out of trying to keep your chain lubricated and nothing can match the continuous delivery of oil directly to the chain / sprocket. I was worried that it would only do a decent job of lubricating one side of the chain, but I can see from the chain that both sides are getting a good coating. Brilliant invention and very nicely made. Probably the best investment I've made in the bike to date. I'd absolutely recommend this to any biker. These units are easy to fit, easy to prime, and easy to top up. I won't own a bike without one of these fitted ever again!Read more
Gone back to a chain, so the Scottoiler is an essential. Great piece of kit and quickly delivered by Sportsbikeshop.Read more
Extra miles life
I've had 3 Scottoiler's on previous bikes over the years. I find they almost double chain life by constantly maintaining the chain lubrication with out the hassle of spraying chain lube and carrying tins of it while touring. A motorcycling must !Read more
Good bit of kit
Well I fitted it OK. The hardest part is getting the tank off of my Suzuki DL650, I've not tried it out as yet due to all the white stuff around at the moment. But it seems to work OK in the garage. Sportsbikeshop even matched a lower price, that I found it for, so you can't beat that for service can you. Roll on summer.Read more
Well worth it

Auto chain oiler
East to fit, lots of free tutorials from Scottoiler and iTunes. Too early to say if it extends chain life but certainly makes life easier.Read more
Easy fit BMW F700GS
Had to order a free vacuum adaptor from Scottoiler as detailed in the bike specific instructions. This was delivered very quick. Installation was simple with next to no dismantling. Setting up the correct flow rate took a little while and I'm still not certain that it's right but this is my first install of one of these and I can certainly see an improvement in how freely the rear wheel spins on the centre stand.Read more

The Scottoiler vSystem is the latest edition of the market-leading range of vacuum-operated Scottoiler chain lubrication systems. Initial prototypes for the first Scottoiler system appeared over twenty five years ago, when Fraser Scott began to investigate and invest in the potential of his idea for a motorcycle chain oiler. As a life-long motorcyclist, the initial idea came to Fraser when he was commuting from Glasgow to Manchester on a regular basis. Due to the high mileage that Fraser was travelling, he found himself having to continually adjust or change his chain. Eventually, under the name of FM Scottoilers Limited, Fraser first made the Scottoiler available to the public in 1986, finally settling on trading as Scottoiler (Scotland) Limited in 1992. Since then continual improvements and innovations have culminated in today's range of products. The popularity of Scottoiler products globally has created an ever expanding workforce with its HQ based in Milngavie just outside Glasgow. With a strong R&D function continually developing future Scottoiler products the company plans to bring the benefits of their product range to a much wider global community in the future.See all Scottoiler products…

The V System will not fit - the Scottoiler website states as below - Unfortunately we have not found a way of installing a Scottoiler vSystem on this model. Either no vacuum connection is available or accessing the vacuum connection takes professional help and a lot of time. For the moment we can only recommend fitting our electronic operated Scottoiler eSystem instead.
