Belstaff Clothing

Practical motorcycle clothing with huge heritage appeal

Waxed cotton motorcycle jackets are plentiful, but only Belstaff can claim a level of expertise that stretches back over a century. Co-founder Eli Belovitch supplied waterproof fabrics to British troops during the First World War and that led to the creation of Belstaff, which has maintained the principles of high quality and craftsmanship for motorcyclists ever since. The company's Trialmaster jacket was created in 1948 to overcome the harsh environment of the Scottish Six Day Trial and that ethos remains today, though now allied with an incredible revival in its image over the past decade that has added a heavy dose of Hollywood glamour to the practical and robust reputation on which Belstaff was formed.
