Great leather short glove
These feel strong, sturdy and not restrictive in the slightest. The armour pieces protect a good portion of the hand with knuckles, fingers and wrist accounted for. Good movement in the tumb that does not pinch. Comfortable, and for a leather glove they are just airy enough to not be unbearable in heat. The cuff is tiny bit awkward, and there is a small flappy seam around the fingers where the top of the glove is sewn to the palm that draws more notice than the photos let on, but poses no problems. Had to trim back a few stray threads. These were picky gripes to be honest. All in all, a decent leather glove for cruising with a fair price tag. Recommended

Build quality looks very good
I've been riding for over 50 years and these are the best bike gloves I've had. The size chart is spot on. My (shortish) fingers go to the ends for once. A bit warm for the hottest summer day but they are supposed to be winter gloves. Build quality looks very good. A bit of colour loss on the knuckles but I'm sure a touch of boot polish will cure that. I'm well pleased.

Having recently purchased a Helstons Ace Fender jacket, I wanted a pair of gloves with similar look and feel. These are them. The leather is thick and supple with the cut edge providing a nice lighter brown accent. A quality construction is apparent also and all at a very reasonable price. The armor features are visually subtle as armored gloves go today, but there are plenty of them. The Kevlar lining isn't bulky and the gloves were broken in by the end of first day's ride, very comfortable. The only negative(s) are that (1.) knowing that they ran small I went to a size 11 ( I wear a 10). The fit is perfect except for the thumbs which are too long, the other fingers being spot on. (2.) The leather wrist strap attachment is Velcro with a faux snap for vintage looks only. Not as tight as I would like, but that's probably due to the larger size. (3.) The last point is that for 'Summer' gloves these are too warm, more of a Spring / Fall glove. Overall however, I feel they really deserve a 4 1/2 star rating. The Vitesse Pro gloves are exactly what I was looking for and SBS delivered again.
