No negatives at all. Bought for girlfriend who does a lot of outdoor work horse riding etc. And it just works brilliantly for her. Cannot recommend enoughRead more
Excellent piece of kit
Have used once but found it to be very good. The advice on ordering size was useful and should not be ignored otherwise you'll end up with wrong size. Very easy to set up and use. Seems good quality garment. No negatives as yet.Read more
Nice and hot!
I used this on cold days on top of my workshirts as my jacket isn't the best and it keeps me warm, maybe at times a little to hot even with the controller set to low. If only that battery wasn't so stupidly expensive this would be an assume bit of kit for winter months when out and aboutRead more
Ace bit of kit
Bought as a cold weather undergarment for driven shoot in Europe. Normally stood around for several hours in a European forest in mid winter freezing your tatas off. This garment was superb and after fifteen mins on high could be switched to low setting and keep me cosy for several hours. The only negative was that the smaller battery struggled to last if used on higher settings for any length of time Would highly recommend.Read more
Does exactly what it says
Delivered quickly with no issues. Packaged well with good instructions.....after looking at reviews on here I ordered a S even though I am between L/XL...I'm glad I did as it fits perfectly over 2 thin thermal layers. TBH I could have probably got away with an XS but S is perfect for me...Ordered with heat controller thankfully with 3 heat settings..Also ordered with Optimate lead as I can then just plug straight in...There is always a compromise with everything and that's the Optimate cable together with power cable making it quite long but I just wrap it over my shoulder and down my back so no big issues. Lovely and warm, it clearly has a thermostat and turns on and off when up to the desired heat so you don't roast yourself from the inside out. A must bit of kit if you ride in all weathers.Read more
Disappointed but know I'll be sorted
Delivery was the usual prompt standard. However, once I opened the outer packaging, suspicion of impending issue were immediate. The inner packaging was damaged, the Body Warmer was in a bag marked 'S' I ordered a Medium. I was not surprised that the Body Warmer did not work. I suspect that the Body Warmer I received had already been sent back. I have subsequently sent back for refund as my size was no longer available. (X20 ordered) I have confidence in Sportsbikeshop that this will have been a "one off"Read more
Warmth and comfort
The advice to go two sizes smaller was good. The jacket works well and was easy to set up and is easy to use. A great buy!Read more
Does what it says on the tin !Read more
Warm and easy
As with some other reviews I had to go 2 sizes smaller for a snug fit. It is great for warmth and so easy to use. Shorter trips this time off year mean just using the battery pack and not connected directly to bike yet. Would recommend.Read more

Hi I am a 46in chest what would be the best size for snug fitMarch 18, 2017
Previous customer feedback would suggest that a large would be the best fit - these do have elasticated side panels to ensure a snug fit. If you find that this is not the correct size for you we can of course exchange it if the item has not been used and still has the tags attached.
Hi there I currently have a pair of Gerbing heated (12v) gloves connected to my battery. I really want a heated vest & the Keis one is 1st choice but can I run both off the bike? Are they compatible with one another - I want to be able to control heat independently of each other - would a simple 'y' cable splitter work? Thank you, SuzanneMarch 10, 2017
The gloves will attach to the vest but only one control unit can be used.
What temperature do these run at and are they supposed to be worn over a jumper?February 26, 2013
The heated body warmers are designed to replace the warm air that is naturally lost by the body during colder temperatures. As such they run at a warm ambient temperature (as opposed to being overly hot) which helps retain the heat whilst remaining comfortable. Being designed to replace heat loss, the manufacturer advises that they are best worn over a t-shirt (or similar baseware) and beneath a fleece or midlayer thus maintaining a warm pocket of air between the layers.
The size chart here is different from the one on the Keis website - can you please confirm which I should use?January 10, 2013
We have adjusted our size chart according to customer feedback.
Does the body warmer come complete with the power leads to connect between battery/jacket and controller?December 3, 2012
The body warmer is supplied with leads for both power supply options (Bike battery or optional battery pack). The plug in facility for the optional battery pack is incorporated into the body of the jacket, this is also the point where the controller can be connected and retained in a zipped pocket.
