Great piece of kit
Nice design not too bulky and work greatRead more
Really comfortable right out the box, unlocked hotter settings for extra heat, wish I'd had these years ago when bike was my only form of transport. As always Sportsbikeshops service was spot on.Read more
I normally take a medium and the medium is also the correct fit for me with this glove. The gloves seem very well made out of soft leather. I wanted gloves without the knuckle armour as that has caused issues after a few hours for me. The driver for me wanting to try electric gloves is not just the comfort of warm hands but as I have got older I have a real issue with hands going numb on long days (especially motorway work). To help ease this I have heated grips which are great for short periods, but after 10 hours in the saddle I burnt my hands trying to get the heat in! I have used these gloves only down to 7c yet, and only on setting 2 out of the 4. They don't feel "hot" but more my hands felt like I was sat in a car, just normal. For me this is what I would want them to do on the long days when they would be used. I came back to the gloves after putting the bike away etc and even though they had been off I could then distinctly feel the warmth inside with cold hands. So it seems more of a subtle heat rather than direct. For shorter work the simple convenience and no faff of heated grips is my preference. I don't know yet if they will do what I'm after but I am pleased with the gloves, and are warm without being plugged in and not unreasonably bulky. They are not a "sport" glove but hopefully a good compromise on feel. I find all the cabling a faff, but that just comes with this solution. I would only use them on longer rides anyway. The Sportbikeshop has as always been absolutely spot on.Read more
Not hot enough
After reading all the reviews I thought these would be useful. Tried the first two settings as was told to and then went to the hottest setting. Just not enough heat. My heated grips give off moreRead more
Very happy with these. I normally wear L gloves but had to exchange for XL as I didn't want a snug fit. The bit of extra space helps to give a bit more insulation from wind-chill. The instructions make it clear that the 3rd and 4th heating levels need 'unlocking' for safety reasons - and this is easy to do. I bought the connector to use from the 12v socket rather than wiring directly to the battery and this works well. Connectors easy to use - even when wearing the gloves. When not plugged in the gloves are warm and well made. What's not to like!Read more
I needed replacement for my old heated gloves that I used for over 7 years. After reading all the praising reviews - I decided to buy Gerblng heated gloves. Must say - I am not a fan. I don't like how cable is feed/connected to a glove, with cable connection box pushing on the wrist once strap is tightened. I didn't read manual before using it, didn't know it will be so complicated. To switch on heating to a stage3 you need to hold a button for a 10sec, then another 10sec for a stage 4. Why? After you do it once - you can switch through all the stages without delay. Using gloves in 4 degrees on a way to work I had to switch to a Stage 4 but fingers kept freezing with wrist being burnt, so I had to switch heating back to Stage 3 and I switched on my heated handlebars that I have never used to, when using my old heated gloves. Heating is very uneven, in contradiction of what it says in description. No additional protection to a knuckles or wrist, I don't think they will provide any protection in case of the crash. They are good in the rain, but not much difference to any weather proof gloves I have used in the past. Overall - gloves are overpriced for what they are. If price tag would be £50-70 - I would say brilliant gloves, I was expecting better level of heating and protection for price of over £100Read more
Does what it says on the tin
They keep your hands warm, stop the wind chill and fitment is perfect from the box. Installation of is not difficult, if you can use a screw driver. Then it's a case of feeding wires where you need them. If you get cold hands when riding outside the summer season, definitely get them.Read more
Effective but fiddly
I was passing Sportsbikeshop on my way north to a tour round Scotland. I decided to buy these and I'm really pleased I did. My hands stayed warm and the gloves didn't leak despite days riding in the rain. The lead is easy enough to fit to the battery on my bike, but it's a bit of a fad plugging in every time and I keep forgetting to unplug when I get off. Hopefully I'll get used to that! Overall a brilliant product so far.Read more

Excellent heated gloves with small cavet
I am usually a Large in a Dainese / Rev'it glove and these were no different. I felt no need to go up a size to allow a little room for the heated glove to breathe as has been recommended, they fitted perfectly. The leather is wonderfully supple and malleable and gives excellent feel of the bars and controls. In fact, of all the Gerbing range these gloves give the best feel and have the less bulk and they are light and easy to store. There is no 'added' protection it has to be said, no hard knuckle or extra temper foam insert in the fingers or palm sliders so (as you can expect) the trade off is comfort and FEEL over out-right protection in the event of an off. They are stated to be a short cuff which is a little misleading as the cuff isn't short but with a little faffing about it can be tucked under your jacket but definitely will not fit over a jacket sleeve. I'd say they were more like a mid length cuff. The XRS-12 gloves do offer more protection at the cost of overall tactile-ness but the cuff is flatter and will fit neatly under a winter season jacket. The T-12 glove is supposed to be the daddy to the G12 glove with a gauntlet and a little extra padding, and again it is a lovely glove but tactile-ness is slightly sacrificed but I found the NON-adjustable gauntlet of the T-12 too small to pull over a winter jacket (3 layer Rev'it Neptune Goretex jacket) with the battery fitted on the T-12 glove It was very hard to pull over my jacket cuff's and quite uncomfortable once on. The XR-12 gloves fit great, and do have an adjustable gauntlet (they are the daddy to the XRS-12 gloves) and feel just as nice to wear. The gloves will slide on and off with ease (and secure with the smaller wrist velcro tab) and will fit pretty over a winter jacket cuff but again, with the battery fitted it's a bit of a squeeze. (Why make a heated glove with a gauntlet that can't be easily fitted over a winter jacket cuff)? When else are you going to be needing a heated glove?? The G-12 gloves are a great little glove and heat and quickly (the other gloves in the range also heat up quickly) but these are quicker still probably because of the reduced bulk. 1st Class service from SBS as ever. We've come to expect no less!Read more
