ON paper it has all the credentials Plus: long leg version available, good outside pockets, acceptable armour Minus: heavy, thermal liner is not warm & too thin & it always gets caught up, not tailored properly but just thrown together; excess material, bulky, boot entry zip/ velcro poorly designed and the front zip is too short! at £100, it is a decent buy. Full RRP, look elsewhereRead more
Good value basic trousers.
Was looking for a good quality/value pair of commuting trousers and these are perfect. For commuting in cold/ wet weather these are ideal, ok in hot weather but not great venting but at the price I cannot complain.Read more
Comfortable, dry, warm
Great fit. Very comfortable. Keep me warm and dry. If anything they're a bit too warm. Probably best for winter. Nice and easy to get on and off. They do ride up a bit from the ankles when riding, and the knee protectors rub my knee a bit sometimes but these are minor complaints. Overall great value.Read more

Good trousers. Bit heavy, but good protection.Read more
Good value, good fit and waterproof
I bought the Continental 2.0 jeans to replace my existing and not very waterproof textile jeans and I am very happy with them. My first ride was 170 miles, a lot of it in the rain, some of it very heavy and the trousers remained 100% waterproof. I ordered my usual waist size in regular length and they are a good fit although with the liners in they are a bit bulky but still fit fine. Because it's June and meant to be summer I have taken the liners out but have found you get a little sweaty at a standstill but better when moving and probably cooler again with the air vents open but with the weather I was riding in this was not possible to test out. I bought these at the same time as the Montreal 3.0 jacket and they work together very well. Sportsbikeshops service was top notch as always and I would happily recommend them to anybody.Read more

Questions and Answers
Hello, I would like to buy Oxford Continental 2.0 Textile Jeans - Black. Could you tell me please which option in the size guide I should rather follow? Normally, when buying casual trousers, I would buy Euro SIZE 62 but in this chart size 62 does not match my real waist size. In other words, will I be ok with the Oxford jeans if I follow preferentially only my waist size figure no matter what Euro size will be? Thank you very muchMarch 18, 2019
Previous customer feedback would suggest that the trousers are true to size, and so if your waist measures 42 inches, then 3XL would be the size to go for.
Is there a way to adjust the height of the knee protectors? One reviewer mentioned a hidden velcro opening in the lining at the hem but I can't find itFebruary 26, 2019
This task is easier accomplished if the trouser legs are turned inside out. At the bottom the leg is a Velcro strip, that can be opened to access the knee armour inserts. These knee inserts can then be positioned higher on a Velcro strip to adjust the height.
