Lovely looking lid
Love Arai and this colour is superb. It has a diamond dust 'shimmer' in sunlight and the photos don't do it justice. Bought a dark tint visor too which just looks mean. Neck 'fraught' guard really means you don't need a buff so much.

this is my 2nd aria and cant fault the quality at all,it fits like glove straight from box!!,alright it maybe at the high end of the price market but to you all out there,you have to pay for the best out there and that's all that I can say!!,I will also add that if you want this quality then go the sportsbikeshop route as the price and after market back up is second to nobody,I had what I thought was a problem and it was purely down to my jackets velcro!!,thankyou sportsbikeshop for your quick response

Firstly I got this as a price mach which was excellent, delivery next day. This helmet is very light with good ventilation, sizing fitment was perfect although when I first tried to put it on I didn't think it was going to fit due to neck collar being very tight but when riding you appreciate this with less draft and noise entering from the bottom also less lift at speed on my GSX1000RR. The extra viewing area with the larger visor is so much better, although the visor release opening mechanism could be better I find it very tight to lift the visor. The chin strap is comfortable but can be tricky to release due to the anti flap clip at the end of the strap which I like but meaning I have to undo completely to remove helmet. This could easily be solved by extending the strap or making the length adjustable, or fit a quick release chin strap like I had on my previous Shoei. Perfect if you wear glasses with the arms sliding right in to your ears. The paint finish is good and just happens to match my sparkle black metallic bike perfectly. Came with Pinlock anti mist part and carry bag Over all a very comfortable nice helmet.

OUTSTANDING! This is my second Arai, my first was a Chaser and it is still going strong after 8 years. I bought the new RX-7V as a gift to myself and I have never felt anything as good as this!! From the superior comfort lining, all the vents, the excellent vision and visor system to the looks, this helmet has it all. It is extremely quiet too with the extra chin guard. The weight of it is incredibly light with the finish of the paint second to non. I have tried all the other top brand names but none fitted as well as this. The RX-7V really is the Creme de la Creme. Well done Arai for a top helmet. Thank you Sportsbikeshop for you relentless top service.

My first Arai, and such a huge difference to the old Airoh GP400 I ´had before. Was riding 4 days in a row in Canaries now, 8hours on, no pain, great venting, noise OK for race-helmet. Overall quality of the helmet is visible and 'touchable'. Other point, Sportsbikeshop, can really suggest, took 4 days to ship to CZ, came one day before scheduled, no delays + extra bag and lens :)

New Visor System
Arai RX-7V Overview
PB SNC2 Shell - Newly developed resin creates stronger bonds between shell materials with less weight. Super Fibre and other special synthetic fibres, with superb tensile strength and flexibility characteristics, developed for F-1 helmet visor panel, assembled and bonded by Arai experts.
Rear Diffuser - New Type 12 diffusers are 20mm longer and straightened for
improved aerodynamics, working together with the AirWing to improve
stability. Compared to the previous Type 10 diffusers, the efficiency of the intake scoops of the new Type 12 diffusers has increased by 19%.
Eco Pure Liner - The fully removable interior liner system has been improved with new Eco Pure material, which helps maintain neutral acidity
levels close to human skin and antibacterial consumption.
With the aim of a softer, deeper and even more comfortable fit, Arai developed a new softer liner frame material.
VAS V MV Visor - VAS MAX Vision visor is standard to provide better visibility in all seasons and for all types of riding. Comes standard with Clear anti-fog Pinlock insert to be installed as needed. Increased field of vision thanks to a taller and wider visor, when compared to previous versions.
Visor Mechanism - VAS visor latch system captures and holds the shield more securely closed to help prevent unexpected opening. In addition to a demist function, the larger latch design allows for an intuitive and seamless operation of the shield.
