Verified Customer Reviews for Dainese Tempest D-Dry Long Glove
Great textile gloves, look smart and feel comfortable. Based on description, you need to go up a size or two. As usual I've ordered two sizes and sent back the one that didn't fit properly. Super customer service from the UK number one "Sportbikeshop".
Excellent all around.
These are very well made, stylish gloves. Suitable for use every day except for hot weather. Good protection and Velcro closures.

Easy to put on and take off.
Note: Not used them in the rain yet.
Negatives:
Medium is ever so slightly small. My hand plus longest finger, measured from wrist is 18.5cm long, which I consider medium length. If your hand measures any longer, you'll definitely need a size large.
these gloves are comfortable and a nice fit . extremely warm
Not tested them in the howling rain yet, but so far these gloves are brilliant.
I have big hands with long fingers and they fit really well. Comfort is great and with my heated grips on I've ridden in 5 degrees and not felt the cold, usually it's the finger tips that suffer but so far no issue.
For £68 I'm really happy, top service from SBS as usually when I popped up to Boston to try them on with another pair I had in mind.
Great fit, lining does not pull out when hands come out. Stayed dry when out in the rain. Nice long cuff on the sleeve. Feel very well made.
I ordered a size larger than my shoe and had to return them for a even larger size. The problem is that the ankle space is so narrow.
Return turn around time was very slow. Next time I will order a second pair and return the original for a refund.
I bought the xl glove and was very impressed with them, they are really comfortable and warm although not tested in the wet as yet.
They are stylish and not stiff like other gloves I have had before, and again arrived when they said they would. Good value for money and will recommend to anyone who asks.
Have had a couple of ride outs and they're comfortable, and hands don't get too hot. Not yet tested in the rain but am confident they will perform well. They look very well made and likely to last a good few years.
Naturally curves to the shape of your hand. Keeps your hand warm and dry. Not tested them a very good quality product.
Excellent value for money , quick delivery with good communication throughout very timely
I was once described as having a pianist's fist. I think he meant small palms and long fingers or it may have been a come on, either way these gloves fit.
I am a Dainese fan and these perfectly complement my Carve Master jacket. They have been waterproof on a couple of 30 mins rides is absolute deluges. Build quality looks good as you would expect from this brand.
Warmth wise; I have heated grips but only one currently functions. On sub 5 degree days the unheated hand starts to get cold after half an hour.
If you have long fingers I recommend them, if your more digitally challenged check out the Richa gloves.
I purchased this pair because my previous Revit gloves were not waterproof. I haven't tested these in rain yet. The fingers have a natural curve to them so the hands close around the handlebars easily. They are not too stiff and I don't get sausage fingers. They are not really that warm. Hands still get rather cold (5C) but at least I don't feel like my hands are about to fall off. A good middle road between dexterity and warmth.
The sizing guide worked well for me and a large is the right size. They fit well and look well made. A little bulkier than what I was expecting but no big deal as I'll use them in between my summer gloves and heated gloves. I searched around and these were the best value for a waterproof glove with visor wipe that I could find.
Good service as usual from SBS.
These are an excellent fit and warm too kept the rain out in heavy rain for more than an hour hands were warm and dry would buy again.
In the beginning it feels that it is a bit chunky but gets better after couple of rides. Very good quality and seems to be a long lasting product. Very comfortable and warm (it is spring, not tested at winter weather...) No regrets.
Initially felt a little chunky between each finger but they felt 'broken in' after just a few rides.
Not quite as warm as I would hope, particularly on the outside of the fingertips but I am a warm-weather-wuss despite being an all year rider.
Fastening and cuff feel really good and they are comfortable for long rides.
The touch-screen pad on the finger is not the most responsive and I don't know why they only did the index finger and not the thumb also.
Good gloves, a little tight and not very grippy but maybe just need to wear-in. Delivery arrived next day.

About
Dainese
In 1972 Mr Lino Dainese made some leather motocross trousers, starting a biking brand that has since brought style and innovation to motorcyclists the world over. Working with some of the most evocative names in motorcycle racing, Dainese led the way in the development of leather stretch panels, knee sliders and race suits- cut to suit the rider in a real world riding position. The 80's brought back protectors (with Barry Sheene), composite armour, and more aerodynamic suits; whilst the 90's brought gloves with knuckle armour and the first biking airbag system. Dainese remains at the forefront of motorcycle clothing technology and continues to be the brand of choice for the biggest names in bike racing, all the way up to the greatest rider of all time, Valentino Rossi. Today, Dainese is one of the most recognisable, coolest, and most aspirational motorcycle brands on the planet. With a well deserved reputation for safety that has crossed over into nearly every extreme sport there is, the name Dainese is synonymous with style, protection, comfort and durability.
