Great back protector, first time l put it on, l thought this is going to be a nightmare. but after a hour or so it started to mould into your back, and don't know l had it on. it's got a top rating to, good value.

Although quit thick, it forms well to my torso, feeling comfortable. Straps provide good support. Am just a bit worried about how long the straps actually are going to hold. I mean it seems you cannot replace a strap but the whole protector needs be replaced. In sum am satisfied with the product and would have bought it again. It really feels secure.

Really well designed and supremely comfortable back protector. I have had quite a few back protectors built into jackets but this is by far one of the most protective ones I have come across. I wanted to get the safest back protector that I could but also one that was user friendly friendly. My riding is only for commuting and social rides and I don ride on the track etc. I ordered two to compare (Knox aegis and this one). Both were good but the fit of the sub 4k is brilliant for me as a slim 6ft tall rider the large fits like a glove and feels really secure and extends down to provide protection for my coccyx as well. It is quite thick but still fits fine under all my bike jackets. The quality is excellent and the sizing accurate.

Forcefield Size Chart
This is the latest 2017 version, which features a colour refresh and is now reinforced with aramid fibre for abrasion resistance.
The Forcefield Pro Sub 4K was specifically designed to test at under 4kn transmitted energy when subjected to the standard CE test EN1621-2. 4kn is considered by medical experts to be the maximum amount of transmitted energy that should be subjected to a user to prevent severe back and rib trauma. Independent testing by SATRA shows a mean test result of 3.38kn making it the first motorcycle back protector in the world to attain this level of performance.
The Forcefield Pro Sub 4K back protector is constructed with a removable & washable outer cover; this gives the user the ability to keep the cover clean and hygienic. It also makes the protector more flexible as it is not bonded at the edges, this in turn makes it more comfortable, a prime consideration when Forcefield design any protector, it is know that if a protector isn't comfortable it will not be used or could be distracting and dangerous for the user.
As with all Forcefield Body Armour the Pro Sub 4K has RPT (Repeat Performance Technology) ensuring continued and consistent protection even after multiple impacts.
