I bought these boots for warm winter riding, but only used them twice. The first time they weren't as warm as I had hoped, and I also found the soles very slippery when coming to a stop and putting my feet down. And the second time I wore them was for a three hour ride in the rain, and unfortunately both boots leaked and left me with soaked toes

A very good boot

I arranged for 8 pairs of boots to be at Milton Keynes, Alpine Stars ,2 styles,TCX and Dane all in different sizes.
I narrowed it down to the Alpine stars and Dane.
Dane won wider very easy to get on and off and very comfortable.
I haven't had chance to use them in the wet but I have every faith in Dane and Sports Bike shop if there is a problem, (were is the rain when you need it) I will recommend these boots based on the service I got from SBS.

Wide fitting comfortable boots

I have wide feet and tried 5 or 6 pairs before I chose these. They break in quickly and are plenty wide enough. A little big in the heel / ankle area but that's better than too small. The leather feels high quality. Can't comment on waterproofness as haven't used them in heavy rain yet.

Comfy good looking boots

The Dane Esby Boots fit well. I am a size 10 and they fitted perfectly to size. Comfortable to walk in from the outset and comfortable on the bike. They are easy to get on as a zip on each side of the boot and they look good too and are well made. Reasonably priced. I recommend.

Dane Esby boots size 45

As there were no reviews I based my purchase on the RIDE recommendation and the description. The boots are very good quality and having worn them a few times now I can confirm they are comfortable and warm. (I started using them in March in the Scottish highlands). I am usually a size 10 and the size 45 boots fit great with room for thicker socks if necessary. Haven't used them in heavy rain yet, but I don't foresee any problems. Fantastic service from Sportsbikeshop as usual, boots arrived next day.
