A very comfortable helmet

Getting this Bell 500 was my second attempt at trying to find an open face helmet. The first, an AGV X70 was unsuccessful as I couldn't get my glasses on and it cut down my hearing. However, after reading many reviews of the Bell 500 I decided to try one, especially as returning it if unsuccessful with SportsBike is simple. I need not have worried! I chose the size according to the chart after taking a careful measurement and not only does it fit perfectly but wearing glasses with it is great. The quality of the helmet is first class and it doesn't cut down my hearing at all so I don't feel disorientated wearing it. Because Bell vary the shell dimensions according to the sizing, the helmet is in proportion. The small handbook which is supplied gives clear instructions on adjusting the double D ring fitting (unlike AGV!) and caring for the helmet. And there is a five year guarantee too! Highly recommended especially if you wear specs!

Classic lid, well made and good price!

Excellent construction, very comfortable and fairly light. I ordered it for my scooter and it's perfect for that. I used the fitting guide and it was spot on. Delivery to Portugal was swift and arrived in pristine condition, not even a mark on the packaging. 2nd lid from sports bike shop sent to Portugal and same excellent experience. Thanks!!

Great helmet

The Bell Custom 500 is a really great helmet. At first I thought that I had ordered the wrong size as it felt quite tight on the sides. But after reading the information about the helmet I realised that it fitted just right and a couple of weeks on I know I was right. Great quality finish and comfortable inside. I would definitely buy another when needed.

Comfortable and light

I love my Bell Custom 500 as it is very comfortable and light. I think the quality of this helmet is very good. I would recommend this helmet and I think the service from Sportsbikeshop was very good.
