Great

Great jeans at a great price. The only thing was a labelling issue where the first pair I received were labelled 36" but actually 34". Sports bike shop's easy return system means another pair arrived the next day and a full refund received for the incorrect pair just behind. Marvellous.

Good jeans

Great fit. Comfortable. Sizing was as expected and they do look like normal jeans, just with padding. Not sure how they will be in hot weather mind you but no reason to remove a star for that

Comfy as feck!

The jeans are great. Put in knee protectors in the internal pockets and they they feel like they will provide good protection. Just need a black pair next :-)

Nice and size good

I bought these as I tried 38 waist (as that is what I normally have) in another style but it was 3 inch short around waist. So I tried these in 40. In fact they are slightly too big but a belt sorts that out. Material is excellent but quite thick padding in top half and feels a bit like wearing a nappy! But think they will be good on bike.

Excellent quality. Sizing guide os accurate. From the reviews looks like they are up to the job if you come off.

Smart looking,good fit

Good fitting jeans,comfortable but I asked for a short leg which unfortunately are still to long for me.

Great jeans

Very comfy and good sizing to allow for being on the bike. Also surprisingly warmer than I expected.

Great but non stretch

Very nice colour and style. Unlike my other pair of Bull It Covec, these do NOT stretch. They are perhaps a little tight for a 36. I usually wear 36 jeans from Next and find them fine, but these are quite tight. With stretch they'd be perfect. If in doubt consider going for a 38.

Can't fault these

Earlier in the year, I bought some Bull-it Covec Vintage SR6 Straight jeans, of which I had some criticisms. (Reviewed on here) These are much better in a couple of key areas: (1) Bull-it's own fancy-dancy high-tech knee and hip protectors fit the pockets and stay in place and (2) They seem much less voluminous - though that could just be the styling. Otherwise, these are nice, thick, covec-lined jeans ... that might just help, should I go sliding down the road!

A realistic alternative to Leather?

I'd like to think so, although I hope I never have to road test the 6-second abrasion resistance that these jeans offer! Fit and comfort is great off and on the bike, but I wouldn't fancy a long walk in them as the SR6 lining does mean that you heat up quickly with physical exertion. Sizing is a tough one, I started by ordering the same waist I get in my Levis only to have to return them for the next size up on the waist which fits perfectly. Top marks to the guys and gals at Sportsbikeshop though for a quick and fuss-free exchange. Leg length is perfect on the bike which means a tad long off it, but then you can't have it both ways I guess. All in all a great purchase and a viable alternative to the full leather kit option for shorter journeys.
