I bought this to replace a 9 year old YTZ12S a a precaution and because I wanted higher crank amps. Its a drop-in replacement. My volts read a couple of tenths higher in the morning.

It turns out that the Yamaha MT09 Tracer has a 15mm spacer in the battery box, and the YTZ14S is 13mm taller than the official Yuasa YTZ10S. With a 2mm spacer the YTZ14S fits and is cheaper (today) than the YTZ10S. My bike failed to start on the old battery, ordered this: good price, fast delivery from stock. Arrived with enough charge to start the bike. What else could you want?
