Verified Customer Reviews for Sidi Crossfire 3 SRS Boots
Mega comfy, easy to put on, all round good boots
I wasn't sold on the SRS version as
the sole looks thicker and more awkward to walk on and I've seen some negative reviews of the bonded sole coming away, on top of that I've always worn the welted sole sidis and never had an issue. Sportsbikeshop price matched a pair so I took a punt.
Fit and comfort is great and despite the level of protection these offer I can actually walk around quite normally and break in time was virtually nil.
The sole is slightly narrower up front than the stitched version, but the toe box doesn't taper down as much towards the front giving a little more room over the toes than the traditional soles.
I used to have different boots for different occasions but I find myself wearing these all the time even for commuting. While not plush inside like an astars tech7, the way these surround my feet provides a fit and comfort that I feel exceeds the tech7 and they don't have the annoying heel float of that boot. Peg/levers to foot connection felt a bit vague at first but after a few rides it's not an issue, no missed shifts like the tech7 plagued me with.
Yes they squeek a little but spray with a silicone spray or furniture spray under the lower buckles shuts them up for a week or two.
I haven't found any grip issues but it's a bonus to know the enduro sole can be fitted in minutes. Another bonus is majority of parts can be replaced and an extra added bonus is the colours of the boot can be changed to match different gear (if that's your thing)
They are slightly narrower up front and made of hard plastic, so when trying them on be sure to spend some time in them and put all your weight into the forefoot, better still get stood on the pegs and make sure the toe box isn't too narrow as your foot spreads.
They are solid and feel safe for most situations
They are quite heavy and lack a bit of sensitivity with the controls but you can get used to them quickly
Not good for walking in
High vis. Good product

About
Sidi
For more than 40 years Sidi motorcycle boots have been worn by some of the most awesome motorcycling legends the world has ever seen. Names like Giacomo Agostini, Joel Robert and Steve Baker, from a golden era of bikesport, have won domestic and world titles, all wearing Sidi boots. Couple past success with the current leading riders, heroes like Bradley Smith, Alvaro Bautista and Tony Cairoli, who all benefit from Sidi's class-leading bike boot technology, and you have a company which has a racing heritage second to none - and it's still a family-run business! As the family say themselves, Sidi is..."A brand proud of decades-long history, we have added a passion for style that only two-wheel riders have". This understanding of both the bike market, and the needs of today's motorcyclist is highly apparent in every single pair of Sidi motorcycle boots in production today.
