Schuberth C3 Pro - Matt Black
Customer Product Reviews
Bought this as a replacement to my Shark S900C. Lovely helmet actually a little lighter than the shark which was surprising given it's a flip up. Lining is plush, visor is massive giving a great FOV alongside the top of the line Pinlock which means you don't get random patches of fog at the edges of your vision. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it's no where near as quiet as I'd expect considering the claims it's definitely a little louder than my Shark. Also on my SV650S with a double bubble screen if I don't tuck in over 70mph the airflow causes the helmet to vibrate, not a major issue as sitting upright at those speeds isn't overly comfortable anyway and this is almost certainly just due to a combination of my build and my setup rather than a real issue with the helmet.
A lot of money for sure but then again you've only got one head but I was trepidatious at the outlay. My big concern was, will it be a lot less noisy than my LIDL £39 lid. And it sure was. Very pleased as it was excellent under the airflow over the fairing/screen and much quieter than my other in all conditions. My biggest happy surprise: my Scalo rider G9X fitted neatly behind the sunshield lever. Comfy in 39°C in Spain when moving. All in all....worth the money.
My first proper hemet was a Schu Concept and was good for some years, after which I have tried a few other manufacturers, all have all fell short of the comfort found with the C3. The noise levels while riding are top notch with no buffeting at higher speeds either and it's light. Well worth the money......
Excellent, better than expected
I have now used the C3 Pro for about 1000 km and it is just an absolute joy to ride with. It is quiet (as quiet as a motorcycle helmet can be). Comfortable and very well built. The Pinlock system is great and doesn't fog up even in heavy rain. The sun visor works great and is easy to open an close. It is an expensive helmet, but it is worth every penny.
Really good quality. Well made and soooo quiet all things considered. Love the fit, really comfortable. Pinlock works well, no misting so far. Definitely worth the wait for this design, it is really bright. Ventilation easy to open and close. Not the cheapest helmet but worth the cost.
Have been using a C3 for 7 years! Faultless! In the short time I've been using the new C3 Pro (2000miles) in all weathers, again faultless. Just the helmet for long distance wear! Looking forward to the next 100,000miles of comfortable riding!
I purchased the Schuberth C3 Pro to replace my Shoei GT Air which didn't fit properly. No fault on Shoei just my head shape didn't suit it, but the Schuberth fits perfectly with a quality feel to the liner. The chin strap and the flip front, which works perfectly easy with just one hand. It is also a lot quieter than the GT Air as it was quite loud in comparison to the Schuberth. I would recommend the C3 Pro for its comfort, quality finish and quietness and with the colour scheme that I chose it looks very smart. You would never know it was a modular lid until you lift the front, as the colour scheme makes it look just like any other lid, also with it being a modular lid it saves you having to remove your helmet at petrol stations.
Great helmet, well designed & made. Quiet & wind-cuttingly efficient to wear in the breeze on a bike. 2 things. 1) it's not as quiet as you'd think it should be. Considering the neck seal, and design of the thing. 2) the visor makes a weird wind whistle when you tilt your head to the right. If you look on the right hand side (when sitting on the bike) and note a 1-1.5mm gap between the helmet body and the visor; wind catches this & it makes an odd noise.
